Press Release Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has strongly condemned the heinous suicide attack on the Fateh Khel Police Post in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which resulted in the martyrdom of 16 police personnel. In an official statement, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Secretary Information, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, paid tribute to the martyred officers and described their sacrifice as an irreparable loss to the nation. He affirmed that the valiant police and security forces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are serving on the frontlines against terrorism with exemplary courage, and their sacrifices will remain enshrined in the nation’s history. He highlighted that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has shown exceptional professionalism and bravery despite resource constraints, acting as a steadfast bulwark against terror. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf extends its deepest condolences and solidarity to the bereaved families and prays for the swift recovery of the injured. Noting the persistent security challenges, Sheikh Waqas Akram urged the federal government to immediately provide necessary financial resources, logistical support, and state-of-the-art equipment to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police to eradicate terrorism. “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf reiterates its commitment that the entire nation and all state institutions will remain united in the war against terrorism.
