Litecoin OG's are some of the most grounded and funny people in this space. This gentleman realized the app rewards negativity towards me and muzzles positivity, so he decided to turn his rally cap inside out and post a trolling rant to reverse my fortunes. Almost 2 million impressions later and some still don't get that. So again...thank you for your service, ser. You da real MVP.

Yesterday someone posted a fake/trolling rant about selling his litecoin and the world ate it up and celebrated it like it was real. No one cares when someone posts they bought 5,400 $LTC ... only when they sell and supposedly trash it. Not only that, but the guy who posted it even said he was just trolling. But people didn't see that. They only saw the joking negativity pointed at Litecoin. The literal hate for something like a public ledger is insane and a direct reflection of how stupid our world is.

A troll post from a supposed 8-year whale who sold his 5400 $LTC just hit over 1 million views and 400+ replies… most of them celebrating the “death of the shitcoin.” This is the level of insult an OG coin from 2011 still gets in 2026. Funny how Litecoin gets more hate than projects with zero uptime, zero users, and zero history. People mock it daily… yet somehow: ➺ 14+ years running with no downtime ➺ One of the highest PoW network uptimes in crypto ➺ Hashrate at/near all-time highs ➺ Still among the most used cryptocurrencies for payments ➺ Survived every cycle while thousands vanished You don’t dedicate this much energy to something irrelevant. Hate is attention. Attention is reach. Reach eventually becomes curiosity. And curiosity is how every rediscovery cycle starts. The funniest part? Litecoin achieved all this without VC theater, influencer payrolls, or “Moon News” headlines. Just blocks. Transactions. Survival. Time.

Litecoin ETF inflows have returned! On May 22, the spot @litecoin ETFs witnessed a net inflow to the tune of a little more than $260,000. This is the first day of net inflows the product has seen for a whole month. Canary's ETF now holds 0.15% of $LTC's supply with an AUM of $6.37 million.

Bitcoin the protocol never lost the plot. Those who commandeered its true purpose and ideals for personal gained did. Bitcoiners who really care about freedom money need to embrace the right battle cry, understand the field before them, and lock arms with those who support and stand by them. Villainizing and insulting those who helped keep their arms up to fight when they were tired aren't the enemy. People who create money extraction mechanisms, confines to how you can use it, and the current financial system who is trying to tame it to take advantage of those with hope are. People like the man were never part of the plot to begin with. It's time to draw the line.

Salt is never the main ingredient in a great recipe. It's an ingredient along with many others but they all must work together to bring out the best overall flavor. Privacy is the same way. It isn't the main ingredient for Litecoin but mixed in the right amount with hard capped supply, full decentralization, no founder stash, and a fair launch, and you have yourself one hell of a great tasting money.

Anyone looking at cumulative daily or monthly transaction fees made by the chain's validators/miners as a measure of success doesn't understand what decentralized validation of transactions at a fee that is beneficial to the user means. Fees on Litecoin average less than $0.01 and the median fee to a user is less than $0.0001. Yet, it grows YoY and sustains its user base through the harshest of crypto winters. Now THAT'S worth bragging about. If the users of freedom money aren't the real focus, then what are we even doing?

If a currency isn't fair from day one, it isn’t global money. The world deserves better. The world deserves fair.

There was a time when Bitcoiners would speak highly of Litecoin. The only thing that changed was the rise of toxic maximalism due to the rise of ICO coins. Unfortunately, this led to Litecoin being erroneously categorized with ‘others’ even though LTC and BTC share the same DNA. Over the years, Litecoin has only continued to serve as silver to Bitcoin’s gold, with rising usage metrics and with additions such as MWEB. Bitcoin developers have continued to indirectly contribute to Litecoin’s tech stack. Nothing else has changed. Some investors complain that Litecoin’s price growth hasn’t rivaled that of Bitcoin’s, but as we’ve seen time and time again, trends can be broken, especially if there’s growing user adoption. Litecoin continues to function as intended with zero network downtime. It’s a network that was launched fairly with zero coins allocated to insiders. Its proof-of-work network is the second strongest, behind that of Bitcoin’s. It’s time-tested and is the altcoin with the strongest payments network effects. The stats are public. It’s time for a reversion towards sound and trusted money. Bitcoin maximalists turned the mission into “us or nothing.” But that mindset only alienates people and shrinks the movement. The real standard should be “fairness or nothing.” That includes a world with Litecoin in it.
