Tay: This post is to clarify my standpoint regarding the current situation. The “like” from last night happened before I knew today’s news and to support a friend who was being criticised inappropriately with harsh language and things that were not entirely factual. This is something I’ve always spoken about regarding how people express opinions on social media. As for the news that came out today, I’m an outsider and learned about it at the same time as everyone else, so I can’t comment on the family relationship. However, I want to make it clear that I do not support any form of domestic violence. Family should be a safe zone where a child can grow up in a complete way. Therefore, if what happened has left emotional damage on anyone, it shouldn’t be ignore. Even if it has passed for long time, healing and resolution are still necessary. And as a friend of Mild, I also want to send her support to handle the situation with mindfulness and get through this time. Lastly, I sincerely apologise if my like caused any misunderstanding or made people think I support domestic violence. Even though the original post was not about this issue, it can lead people make the connections. I want to clarify once again that I support what is right and place importance on this above anything else.
