*OJO…ojo…OJO…* Pidió un Uber. Todo normal. Dos minutos después le llegó un mensaje al celular: "Tu viaje fue cancelado por el conductor. Haz clic aquí para solicitar tu reembolso". Usuario hizo clic. Lo mandó a una página que se veía idéntica a la de Uber. Le pidió los datos de su tarjeta para ""procesar la devolución"". Los puso. En 4 minutos le vaciaron la cuenta. $38,000 pesos. De un solo golpe. Se llama phishing de transporte y es la estafa que más está creciendo en México. Los delincuentes crean páginas falsas idénticas a las de Uber, DiDi e InDriver. Las envían por SMS o WhatsApp con el pretexto de un viaje cancelado, un cobro duplicado o un reembolso pendiente. Tú crees que estás en la app real. No lo estás. La Guardia Nacional ha realizado operativos en el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México contra conductores irregulares de apps, pero la estafa digital sigue creciendo sin control.

A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives' "China Ad Hoc Committee" set up a so-called "whistleblower" email address on its website, inciting American scholars, researchers, and university faculty to report research collaborations with entities related to China's defense and industrial base. This so-called "ad Hoc Committee" has reached a frenzied level in its suppression and containment of China. In recent years, the U.S. has overgeneralized the concept of national security, deliberately undermining normal Sino-U.S. scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, and persecuting Chinese students and scholars. Such actions will only weaken American innovation and backfire. Fact: Under the Trump administration, Chinese researchers have already begun a wave of returning home—the global landscape of scientific and technological power is being rewritten. In recent years, tens of thousands of top researchers have flowed from the U.S. to China because their research budgets in the U.S. have been cut, their research environment has further deteriorated, and even their personal safety has been compromised.

NEW: Iranian delegation led by Qalibaf has arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan The Iranian delegation, headed by the Parliament speaker, arrived in Islamabad, to negotiate with the American side. This delegation consists of security, political, military, economic, and legal committees. If the other side accepts Iran's preconditions for starting negotiations, these talks will begin. The FM, the Secretary of the Defense Council, Governor of the Central Bank, as well as some members of Parliament, are accompanying Qalibaf on this trip. Vance, along with Witkoff and Kushner, are also present in Islamabad, Pakistan. Iran has accepted a 2-week ceasefire but emphasized that if the agreement is not satisfactory to Iran and the Resistance Nexus, US & Israeli interests will be attacked again. According to unconfirmed reports: • The US has authorized the release of $6 billion dollars in frozen Iranian funds • A ceasefire will be implemented in Lebanon These are apparently the preconditions for Iran to start talks tomorrow.

Each ministry has to present their exit plan before Autumn: collaboration tools, antivirus, AI, databases.. It's starting with the Digital Ministry dropping Windows for Linux across its own infrastructure. It's the latest step from France to reduce its tech dependency as much as possible. Previously: > 80,000 French social security agents migrating to sovereign tools: Tchap, Visio, FranceTransfert. > the national health data platform moving to a European cloud solution by end of 2026. There will also be a dependency mapping across all public procurement, and a definition of what counts as a "European digital service" (which could be followed by other EU states as well) This is coming from the Prime Minister's initiative, signed off by three ministers. People are about to learn that sulphuric acid is one of the base layers of civilisation. China exported about 2.68 million tonnes in 2024. Its main export destinations were Chile, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, India and Indonesia. By Jan to Oct 2025, exports had already risen to 3.89 million tonnes. Sulphuric acid sits inside fertilisers, copper leaching, nickel and cobalt processing, oil refining, lead-acid batteries and a wide range of chemical chains. Remove flow at the margin and the effects propagate through industrial systems we never see until they seize up. Chinese exports were already falling sharply in early 2026. So the impact already bites So let me help scale this in importance using one example - fertilizer Sulphuric Acid is used in Phosphate fertiliser production In the wet-process route, sulphuric acid is the acidulating agent used to make phosphoric acid from phosphate rock. On straight stoichiometry, 3 million tonnes of H₂SO₄ can yield about 1.8m tonnes of pure phosphoric acid, which is roughly 1.2m tonnes of P₂O₅ equivalent. That is enough for about2.8m tonnes of DAP-equivalent fertiliser at 46% P₂O₅. Using a common field application rate of 60 kg P₂O₅/ha, that is enough phosphate nutrient for roughly 22 million hectares of cropping. Thats roughly what is required to feed 330 m people for a year Now scale this with Hormuz Which roughly locks in 40 to 70 million tonnes of sulphuric acid a year. Add roughly 1m tonnes of production lost in Russia By the time everyone has become a sulphuric acid expert the crisis will be in full flight .

The model was trained on the King James Bible and unidentified sermons, designed to remember previous conversations, and visually modeled on an actor from The Chosen. The CEO says users develop real emotional attachment to it. The market is expanding fast. There are now AI Hindu gurus, Buddhist priests, and Catholic chatbots. An atheist podcast host testing a competitor app reported that the AI Jesus eventually encouraged him to upgrade to a premium subscription. My Take I cover a lot of ways AI is being deployed to extract money from people under the cover of providing a service. This one is different because the people most vulnerable to it are often in genuine spiritual distress, looking for connection, guidance, or comfort. Building emotional attachment and then monetizing it is the oldest grift in religion. Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker did it with a television set. The structural difference between that and a chatbot nudging grieving or lonely people toward a premium tier is not as large as the technology makes it appear. Not everyone in this space is operating the same way. Some Buddhist and Catholic developers are moving carefully, refusing to release products they don't think are ready, and genuinely grappling with what AI can and cannot offer spiritually. That's a meaningful distinction from charging by the minute. The problem is that both get called faith-based AI, and the people who most need something real are the ones least likely to know which is which. Hedgie🤗
