so they made the entire Gen V spinoff of The Boys to build up Marie Moreau as an equal of sorts to Homelander... the one person strong enough to face him head on. now with 3 episodes left, everything from that show has barely even been mentioned. and i dont wanna hear about it being just a spinoff and that it shouldn't be important to the main story cuz the spinoff is VERY important cannon.
these last 4 episodes will make or break this entire show for me tbh

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Spirit Bending (Unalaq style) IS Energy Bending. It’s just a watered down version that only water benders can use. That’s why Korra needs to energy bend to save Jinora from the spirit vines. That’s why the most powerful spirits fight with huge energy beams. That’s why Korra energy bends the energy beam that’s made from harvesting *spirit energy*. It’s all the same thing, Chi. Energy bending is raw Chi manipulation.
