One of the times I was in Iraq I was part of a team that restored water to a village. Saddam had the water pump taken out so the people in that area couldn't survive. We discovered this info because we noticed the locals using the waste water coming from our camp, yes I said waste water. When we restored the water the locals were absolutely ecstatic, the happiest people I've ever seen in my life. This is when I realized how absolutely spoiled we are as Americans. Don't get me wrong, I love this country, but we take so many things for granted. Be thankful for what you have instead of concentrating on what you don't have.
