Atiku, being the only Northerner contesting in 2027, will have an advantage over other candidates. Obi have benefited from religious support in 2023, as he was seen as the main Christian candidate. Peter Obi will not attract Christian voters in 2027 like that of 2023, since he is not the only Christian contesting. Any Northern candidate in 2027 will receive more votes than any due to the presence of multiple Southern candidates.
