@feelthebyrn1 I find what works for me is Tues nights 20min of 40on/ 20 off fast turnovers on the treadmill with a good warm up and cool down. Then Thursday ( 48hours later)5 x 5 heavy barbell deadlifts ( up to 220lbs for me) and weighted glute/ ham focused back extensions. I have a video.
Friends, what tactics do you use to train limb speed tolerance in runners, and cyclists?
My high velocity efforts are straining my hamstrings
Everything else is well tolerated
I'd welcome ideas

A human saying "I can't run" is like a horse saying "I can't gallop". It's your natural gait, it's how we (should) get around, it's literally what you were born to do!

@feelthebyrn1 Been following some of your and @Alan_Couzens posts. At 45 and training triathlon again for the first time in years it’s been fun to compare my own journey to what you two are sharing. I definitely feel some differences at 45 and much bigger athlete then I was.

Your daily routine is what adds up to who you actually become. What I lean on every day:

- Exercise daily
- 5min to be educated or inspired by something
- Drink lots of water
- Think about what you consume - toxic or nourishing. In ALL aspects.
