Eiichiro Oda's message about Akira Toriyama's passing: It all still feels too sudden. I feel like a massive hole tore through my heart. The thought of never seeing you again fills me with so much sadness. I've admired you so much since I was a child. I distinctly remember the day you called me by name for the first time. I remember that day walking home, hanging out with Kishimoto-san, when you called us "friends" for the first time. And I remember the last conversation we had. Picking up the relay from an age when reading manga was considered a stupid waste of time, you are among those that forged an era where both adults and children alike could read and enjoy this medium. Showing me that manga could achieve such things... you made me dream that I could reach the whole world. I felt as if I was witnessing a real superhero pushing forward. Your impact wasn't limited to the manga industry alone. The childhoods of so many creators from several industries were no doubt rooted in the excitement of reading Dragon Ball weekly. Your existence is like a great tree whose branches spread into the sky. To mangaka of our generation like us, standing on the same stage as he did and the closer we got to Toriyama's work, the more I feel we realized just how much of a presence it had on this industry. It was almost frightening to witness. And yet at the same time, the man behind it was such an easygoing person. That made me so happy to see. I feel that, on a genetic level, we all love Toriyama-sensei for who he was. I would like to offer my deepest respect and gratitude for the vibrant creative world that Toriyama-sensei left behind, and pray from the bottom of my heart that he may rest in peace. I hope that heaven is just as pleasant as you envisioned it in your manga, sensei. -Eiichiro Oda

Some X content creators are making $100,000 to $500,000 per year, Just through businesses they’ve launched on X I haven’t made $100,000 but I have experienced a lot of benefits. This is what’s happened for me so far (and what can happen for you) ⭐️ Benefits I’ve experienced: · Got my first X paycheck · More Bricktopian Buyers · Lunch w/ @NFT_GOD in NYC · Paid sponsorship opportunities · Paid to speak at in person events · Grown a newsletter to 3,200+ subs · Having more fun in every single day · People reaching out to work for free · More invitations to speak on spaces · Found my niche in Web3 job content · Gotten sponsorships for friends on X · Improved my content creation skillset · Had way more fun at NFT NYC this year · Secured a partnership for Bricktopians 🧱👀 · Growth group chats with other leading creators · I now work out of a Web3 office w/ a friend from X (for free) All it takes is a few months of creating content consistently to start seeing the early benefits. You can create a Web3 career on X. The time to start now.

Small technique that I learned from @jackbutcher for getting more done each day. (Btw he has a lot of awesome content outside of Web3 that you need to check out.) This is what I use to guarantee I ALWAYS make progress, no matter what happens during the day. It's called elevating your Best Bad Day. The technique is super simple: So, how often do you feel like your week is a rollercoaster? 🎢 Some days you feel like you've smashed through everything you wanted to get done 🚀 Other days, you get bombarded with calls and unexpected things that you have to take care of, ending up getting nothing done that you needed to 😵‍💫 It sucks right? You need to elevate your 'Best Bad Days' This starts with by looking at what you're doing each week. 🤔 Ask yourself: "What are my core macro goals?" And "What are the small tasks that if I do them every day, I'll make progress." They should be tasks where if you ONLY get those done for the day, everyday, you will be happy. And if you missed them, it would feel like a step backwards. (Think of it like you're setting the 'floor' of what you're going to get done each day) For me, my goals are to progress my NFT project Bricktopians & build our audience 🏆 ✅ My tasks are: · 1 Big Step Forward Project Task · 1 hour of replies, DMs & community engagement · 1 Long form tweet during my morning coffee (during weekdays). · 10 mins of meditating I know if I get these done, we are making progress. What I do next is, I have a button set-up in Notion that automatically generates this as a to-do list, which means I don't even need to think about it. I set myself a goal of completing this before 12pm Which means that NO MATTER WHAT, I make progress every single day. It doesn't matter who calls me or what new tasks pop-up, I get this done. The great thing is that this creates momentum. When you feel a sense of achievement, you can then add more tasks throughout the day knowing the day is already a success. ⭐️ Pro-tip if you're going to try this technique: Don't set more than 4x tasks. I tried more, but then it ends up putting too much pressure on the rest of the day and you get none of it done. If you can get it down to 3x tasks, that's even better.

I've always considered myself to be someone that's super disciplined when it comes to work. If it needs to get done, it gets done. But being disciplined creates its own challenges, because it means you’re doing work that you find hard. I’ve recently found something better than discipline… Let’s start by talking about burnout, where does it actually come from? If you’re someone that’s done an all nighter playing video games before, You never feel like “damn, I can’t play anymore Diablo, I’m super burnt out.” Why is that? 🤔 It’s because you find it to be fun. See burnout isn’t about how hard you work. Burnout is your body’s reaction to not getting rewarded for the work you are putting in. The challenge is that most things worth working on don’t give you a reward until years later Whether that be creating content or building a business. That’s why MOST people burn out 🤯 And it can often feel like the only answer is to be more disciplined and trust the process. But there is another way… You need to take the work that you are doing, and identify the tasks that GIVE you energy vs the tasks that DRAIN your energy. For me, for example. I really enjoy writing threads. I could write threads all day long if you asked me. I never feel burnt out from writing, it’s something I love to do. Whereas spaces I enjoy, but in moderate doses. I find if I do too many spaces in a row I feel mentally fatigued and less excited about my work. So I spend as much time writing threads as possible, because to me it’s a genuine hobby. It recharges me 🔋 Something I did recently was do an analysis of all the tasks I do each week, and identified the ones that I look forward to doing vs those that drain my energy. Of the ones that drained my energy, I eliminated any that previously felt important, but on closer analysis were not actually impactful to my work. I now wake up with more energy, because I am EXCITED for the day ahead, rather than feeling like I have a mountain to climb 🧗‍♂️ *Final pro-tips: 1️⃣ Assign yourself less tasks each day than you think you can accomplish, when you finish them early you’ll feel good and be able to carry that momentum into completing more tasks. (This is always better than overfilling your to-do list and never finishing it each day). 2️⃣ Don’t feel like you need to run at the same speed as other content creators. You need to run at a pace that you can sustain for several years, not one that you can keep up for 2 months. I’m officially 1 year into my content journey, and the biggest thing that I can tell you is that it takes time, so pace yourself.

What happens when you ask yourself: "What is the highest quality, most impossible thing that we could possibly create?" And you build it anyway... The answer: You create Bricktopians. When you're building the impossible, it takes an extraordinary feat of blood, sweat, tears and most of all... Technology. That's what this Artifact represents. The absolute armada of supercomputers, coming together to create something that has never been seen before in Web3. Today, we stand as one of the only collections where every single NFT moves and behaves in its own unique way, based on the Bricks that it is made from. This is the foundation that drives us forward, and sets the standard for everything that we build. And we're only just getting started.
