@ThrowthoseLsUp @KySportsRadio Hey spanks, Great idea. Here’s the issue: Every ref that you watch on TV has already and is currently being graded and reviewed vigorously. Those guys doing the tournament make $4,000+ a game, I promise you the aren’t just throwing anyone out there. Summary- it’s a hard job.

Not sure I have ever seen a Coach go in like this during an in-Game interview. Goes after the officials and Dawn Staley

@bentley_rick @ukbear03 It sounds like it should be that way, I get it. The reasoning its not is there is marginal contact on every single play down the floor. If officials don’t let the outcome of the contact determine their whistle, it will be a long game.

@cincystoned @ukbear03 I don’t take this as being mean. I just don’t agree with it. To me, if it’s a foul, call it. It doesn’t matter the time in the game or the scenario.

In HS what percentage of fouls are called when a basket is made? I say 50%. I also say that 50% aren't actually fouls.

@ukbear03 @bentley_rick Just now seeing this, not trying to be mean, every good official does this and is taught this at the numerous training camps we go to every summer.

@bentley_rick @ukbear03 Officiating is hard. Contact on every play. Gotta wait to see if the contact had any affect on the outcome of the play. If not, it would be a zebra show. Hope this helps.

@ukbear03 In the college game, we see way too much of refs waiting to see if it's good before a foul is called. I actually heard a ref tell a coach who said he thought a foul should have been called, "You're right. If he'd missed, that would have been a foul." It either is or isn't.

@brock_moon1 In the second video- there is no need to fall. Just stand your ground and wall up.

@brock_moon1 Not trying to be an ass, but the only time we are taught to call a charge is when the offensive player barrels through a defender. Nobody wants to see defenders slide over and fall to the ground as soon as they get touched.

We are going to learn in the next few hours or day that there are already a lot of dead American soldiers in the Middle East. They just haven't told us yet. I know that's "just the way it is" as the President explained, but it seems very unfortunate.

I don’t think there is much to be gained from a pool report question about a judgement call. It was a missed call, official didn’t get a good look because of positioning. Doesn’t excuse the miss, but not sure what good or use a postgame question is here. Nothing of substance
Zach Osterman@ZachOsterman

Game officials were contacted through pool reporter protocols postgame. That protocol only allows for rules questions, nothing specific to judgment calls, so there will be no comment following the late-game call/no-call. #iubb

Not here to rant about the refs, but Conwell gets no call and then Trimble gets that soft one on the other end? Officer Dale would’ve had to drag me off the court. Pitiful.

@billrusso34 I’m trying to be cordial and informative here. Yes there are bad refs, yes there has been a handful of officials in the history of sports that rig games, but I promise you it’s not an easy job and they do a pretty damn good one. Always trying to be better tho🤝

@billrusso34 Trying to just be realistic here and give you a perspective from a lower level college official. These D1 guys don’t get paid $5000/game for no reason. Besides the NBA, the NCAA men’s side has the best pool of offials in the world. Its impossible to be 100%. Imo, 96% ain’t bad.

Players have ZERO impact on the outcome of these games. Grand Canyon (-1.5) vs San Diego State = RIGGED. Big time game saving clean swat to seal the game for SDSU but wait FAKE FOUL. Grand Canyon wins by 1 on the dot

@billrusso34 @EatTheBooks23 @RIGGEDFORVEGAS 96% correct call rate for men’s NCAA. You should try it sometime to see if you can do better than that. Hundreds of thousands of referees in the country and they have the absolute best of the best. If you want 100% accuracy they would need to replay every single whistle.
