an indie game developer being honest and upfront about his inability to help translate his own game into a language he doesn’t know how to read/speak is not racism. that isn’t what racism is. let’s have some common sense here

before this thread gets taken out of context, this is absolutely addressing a certain subset of a Very Popular indie game who expressed outrage at their game not being officially translated in their own language

a reminder that indie video game creators/indie animation creators are human just like you and me. just because they created an Overly Popular Online Phenomenon does not justify demonization unless they genuinely expressed *and* endorsed bigoted and harmful views

i am very glad that i am not as terminally online as i used to be. i can close my eyes and turn away from everyone throwing their hat in the ring to commentate on the Hot Discourse of the Week
