cleaned out my med student locker + white coat a week or so ago and it was equally (probably more) gross

wearing my patagonia for the first time since rotations and in my pockets I found: - 4 used N95s (ew) - 1 granola bar wrapper - 3 candy wrappers - 2 pens - a HPI/presentation template notes sheet 🙃i really jammed everything in my pockets when i was rotating

So we’re clear: The Supreme Court ended affirmative action yesterday by saying you CAN’T discriminate by helping a minority group, then turned around today and said you CAN discriminate by hurting them.

@ditzymed Def a situation where you just have to find what works for you bc some of my classmates didn't use Anki at all and did great! It's not the end all be all and honestly making my own cards didn't take long at all (made my own for MCAT too!)

making anki cards for my summer work bc I'm *that* student* and let me just say, premade cards are the way to go *my school is literally pass/fail with no internal rankings, can someone teach me to be chill?

@ditzymed I actually really enjoyed it and I learned a lot from doing that LOL so it worked out really well for me.

@aieaieo I just think it's important to recognize people learn differently and it kinda sucks people are trying to get rid of lectures all together given how much it helped people like me

So... Am I the only med student who genuinely enjoyed going to lecture 💀
