@notsostupid_ oh have you heard about disability yet? my mom lost her leg in a car accident years ago and gets money from the government. every couple of years she has to prove she’s still disabled… AND people on disability lose benefits if they get married, can’t make over a certain-

as a non american person i have some questions for the pitt fandom - what is medicare/medicaid? - healthcare is really that expensive? that people rather go home untreated like mr diaz - why do many patients chose not to take an ambulance? like the rural patient of 213

yes we have to pay for pads tampons etc, some public places offer free items but if we want the good stuff that actually works… we gotta buy it. yeah the free ones work but it’s like a small bandaid on a big wound

@notsostupid_ medicare and medicaid is the government insurance, you have to qualify via income/disability. yes healthcare is that expensive. bc ambulance rides are fifteen hundred dollars. bc nurses wages aren’t reflecting how much work they put in therefore, no one wants to work-

@atsuomi7 parsnips by the masses i fear… at least in the spring. they’re cheap to buy and have the shortest grow time. fishing and mining will also give you some good money. once you get chickens and cows you can make mayo and cheese and sell those too. that’s how i make money in the cold
