I expected this from the senate under Biden. But now, with the majority? Republicans and Democrats (with a few exceptions) are nothing more than opposing wings of the same bird that shits on all of us. The biggest scam in America is not financial fraud, it’s the “representative government” that keeps us indentured slaves, under threat of incarceration, to finance their power and greed. Quite frankly, I’ve had enough.

Funny you suggested that... We've been at this remedy 6 years, and it wasn't until January that we published the first draft. Final draft comes out in a few days- all done in utter secrecy because NO ONE involved wants to let partisan politics taint it or get picked off before the November elections. You can read the 28th Constitutional Amendment to REFORM CONGRESS designed and drafted by DEMOCRACT and REPUBLICAN STATE legislators here: Task28.com We have 11 states thus far... 4 dems and 4 Republicans in each agree to sponsor/carry the resolution, and we've only been at THAT for two months. We'll make it to all 50. NOBODY on either side opposes this--- NOBODY-- at least not thus far. A Win for the PEOPLE...

Go to Sen. Thune's page @LeaderJohnThune and read the replies. He's getting slaughtered at a clip of roughly 100%. Additionally, do you think his offices aren't deluged with calls from people berating him? Of course, they are. My point is that Thune and his staff are aware of how unpopular he is, given the events, yet he continues. Now ask yourself why that is? It d/n make any sense. He won't even allow Trump to make recess appointments. All told, are you pissed? Good. You should be. I realize the standard fallback reasoning is because he's a part of the UniParty and RINO contingency, which is (unfortunately for all of us) true. But is he actually running the show at the moment, as has been the case in the past, or is he possibly being directed to act as instructed and play the villain in real time to achieve larger ends by driving this point home? I would argue that not only is it possible, but more than likely the case, given the gravity of the moment and everything else many of us believe is going on. Keep in mind, DC is overwhelmingly compromised across party lines. That's why I am considering this as an exposure op big picture.

Don't want to burst a bubble here, but... the reason THIS passed last night under "unanimous consent," without any recorded vote was because Murkowski or the other Democrats did not OBJECT to it being passed like that. No Senator had to record their vote, (the Senate is a club- not a representation of Democracy), and IF the SAVE act was attached, or funding for border security was attached, the Democrats would have objected under the rules (that cannot be overridden by the way), and they wouldn't have all been able to jet away with personal escorts off on vacation. So, everyone agreed- EVERYONE. Republican senators could have run in and objected, but none did, partly because they were mostly asleep, and whom other than the TURNCOAT THUNE engineered a coup on the rest of the Republicans, late at night, to assure this bill went over to the House, where it will now be resoundingly rejected. I imagine many of the Republican Senators are livid with Thune, but you can tell by WHO scooted away early this morning at the airports, as to who had ALREADY decided to screw over the American people and go on vacation- if you think this wasn't planned as a heads up for the members- you're not getting that this is a club. They don't really care about YOU anyone. they are rushing off to see and hear what the donors want done next. Bank on it- they are. This Senate is more bought and sold to the highest bidder than even I thought was possible- BOTH sides of the aisle.

WATCH: The moment Thune passed the DHS funding bill by unilaterally ending debate without cloture (60 votes). This is the very thing he REFUSES to do with the SAVE America Act because that would be “nuking the filibuster.” It’s Republicans that are sabotaging the MAGA agenda.

@Winston8625 @mitchellvii Each state can manage it own affairs on crime. You know that. Most crimes are in fact state crimes. Don't let the criminals back on the streets. Call ICE when they finish their sentence. Pretty simple. Florida does it very well with a HUGE illegal population.

I would rather start from the ash heap two or four years from now than attempt to massage a pile a sh*t and make believe it smells better. Honestly. I've been in politics 40 years. What Thune just pulled is reprehensible. Let the country bathe in Newsom's California for a few years and then maybe they'll wake up. THAT is what it is going to take. In the meantime, the corporations that forced this crap on Thune et al will be taxed to hell and regulated to hell under Schumer/AOC, so they'll reap what they sowed-- shortsightedness. Perhaps they'll also learn, although I doubt it. The MBA mills don't look at much more than quarter to quarter performance- so there's that Achilles heel. No, this is to far gone to save. I am working with Democrat and Republican STATE legislators who saw this coming years ago. We spent the last 6 honing and perfecting a bi-partisan Article V with rules and sideboards and the text- no surprises. Everyone gets to see what's in it going in. I can't find a single person who opposes it- if you can- more power to you. I have gone to the bluest of Blue States- Vermont, and the Reddest of Red- Oklahoma and everywhere in between helping put this thing together. The PEOPLE are going to win one for a change. Congress is a lost cause. It really doesn't matter which party is in control, the underlying score doesn't change- the people keep losing. Just tell me how many DOGE reforms were codified by the Senate? That'll get you started. They actually put money back INTO USAID to preserve their overt corruption and Bondi won't touch the bastards, partly because they won't let her put people in nVa attys. Johnny boy is honoring the blue slips and Grassley is to demented to realize those days are over. Naw--- this has gone too far. the donors are running the joint- the people are an "constitutional inconvenience". Task28.com will be changing all that. JOIN THE WIN... when it gets to your state after the election. We run secret until then.

None of the politicians who applauded yesterdays terrible SCOTUS tariff decision—including Democrats and Republicans like Don Bacon, Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, and Lisa Murkowksi—took any action to bring back or keep manufacturing in America. None of them, many who have been in Congress for decades, demanded that trade deals must prioritise the interests of the United States and its citizens. Let's be honest. For decades, Congress has been perfecting the art of sitting on their hands while factories packed their bags and headed overseas. Silence was the loudest response when manufacturing packed its bags and waved goodbye to our shores. And when jobs vanished and American Main Streets turned into "ghost towns," they casually informed us that we simply had to roll with the punches and embrace the allure of cheap foreign goods. Our nation's farmers, fishermen, and cattle ranchers were pushed to the back of the line due to lopsided trade deals that were supported by Congress for decades. Congress is thorn in America's side, and any member of Congress, whether Republican or Democrat, who revels in the fact that other countries are gaining advantages over the United States must be removed from office. Member of Congress have sworn an oath to the Constitution and to serve and protect the interests of the American people, and your work in Washington, DC, should be to further the country's economic and political interests.

@realchasegeiser : I'll quietly let you know what has been stirring for quite some time. Just got our sea legs in the last few months... Read the text. The Final legal draft publishes in a few days. Then its 50 states before the November elections- ALL secret coms. We obtain 4 Dems and 4 R's in each chamber of each state as sponsors/carrying. So far 11 on board with that. Easier than thought. Only took 2 months. 39 to go. This WILL pass. The PEOPLE will win one here. This ain't going back in the bottle. task28.com

@chrissharp11 @DataRepublican @EricLDaugh The Senate is a club- they all agreed to let it go through, meaning, if no one objects, it sails through. If there was anything in it the Dems or the RINOs didn't like, they would have sent someone onto the floor to object, and that, in the Senate, ends it all right there.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Speaker Johnson and Whip Tom Emmer are FURIOUS with what the Senate GOP did with the DHS funding deal, which omits ICE The Senate might have to COME BACK. "They did this at 3 IN THE MORNING!" "Our speaker is VERY unhappy, I'M not happy! Our whole leadership." "What the Senate did was FRANKLY NOT RIGHT. We WILL make sure the border is funded!" "We will not allow radical anarchist socialist Marxist Democrats to create an open borders situation again!" "By the way, this sets dangerous precedence." "We WILL have a solution."

Funny you should say that. We spent the last 6 years working on exactly the LONG GAME. Although this can be done in about 12-18 months now that the hard draft is finally done. Please do not ignore it while we continue to operate in secret until AFTER the November elections. Nobody on either side of the aisle wants to get picked off by the DC lobbyists who absolutely oppose this. Read the preliminary text. Final text gets published in a few days, remarkably on time for this fiasco from the Senate. Task28.com

Some things take time if you want them done right. This is why you don't cook your steak in the microwave. Fixing the country as a whole is not something that can be done in a year or two. It's not something that one man, or one administration can fix in the blink of an eye. Anyone selling you "quick fixes" is lying and setting you up for disappointment. It's a long process. It's a real world process. There is no instant gratification here. Lock in and get ready to play the long game.

Told ya this is what they should do. Plus Trump says he can pay TSA with other funds--- DO IT dammit. Play hardball. If Trump signs the present Senate bill I will have lost all respect for him. What they say about Trump now.... that he does the Trump TACO dance will be true. TACO = "Trump always chickens out" Mr. President, you said you were on our side. Please don't let what they say about you be the case-- play hardball this time. Please do not always chicken out. Its wimpy frankly. Tell the children of the Senate that they don't get to go home for Spring Break if they haven't turned in their homework. That would be absolutely irresponsible of them.

Nailed it. The plan now is to make sure people like John Cornyn and any other preening peacock of the Senate like Lindsey Graham LOSE their primaries. This is inexcusable. Absolutely inexcusable.
DataRepublican (small r)@DataRepublican

Hello Senator Thune, At 3 AM on Friday, March 27th, in a near-empty chamber, you passed a bill by voice vote that excludes all funding for ICE and CBP. Let me repeat that: voice vote. No roll call. No record of who was there. No accountability. Just you, Barrasso, and a handful of senators shuffling paper in the dead of night while America slept. You could have demanded a recorded vote. You chose not to. You could have held the line for five more days until the House returned. You chose not to. You could have used the same procedural tools Democrats have used against you for 40 days. You chose not to. Instead, you gave Chuck Schumer exactly what he asked for, DHS funding minus immigration enforcement, and called it a win. Then you walked to the cameras and blamed the Democrats. Let's be precise about what you did: 1. You caved to a demand Democrats made on Day 1 of this shutdown. Forty-one days of supposed hardball negotiation, and you settled for their opening offer. 2. You handed them a template. The next time Democrats want to defund any agency — ICE, CBP, or anything else — they now know: just shut down DHS and wait. John Thune will fold at 3 AM. 3. You punted to reconciliation. "Good possibility," you said. Not "we will." Not "guaranteed." Just maybe. Meanwhile, ICE operates on fumes from last year's bill with no certainty of future funding. The precedent you set: You have argued for months that the filibuster is sacrosanct. That the 60-vote threshold protects minority rights. That we cannot bend Senate rules for policy wins. But at 3 AM on Friday, you bent every norm that actually mattered: • Voice vote to avoid accountability • Empty chamber to avoid debate • Midnight deal to avoid scrutiny • Immediate recess to avoid questions You'll bend the rules to avoid a fight. You just won't bend them to win one. What you've actually accomplished: Democrats demanded ICE restrictions. They got ICE defunded. Not reformed. Not restrained. Defunded. And you're out here tweeting about how Democrats are the "Defund the Police" party while you just voted to defund border enforcement at 3 in the morning. The question you should answer: Why did this deal have to happen at 3 AM? Why couldn't it happen at 3 PM, with cameras rolling and every senator on record? You know why. Because you didn't want your voters to see what surrender looks like. Here's my message: We saw it anyway. Stop hiding behind "Democrat obstruction." You're the Majority Leader. You set the schedule. You control the floor. You chose this outcome. Own it.

Thune refuses to allow Trump to make recess appointments. This is Trump's OWN party stopping what would otherwise be smooth sailing for the President. Trump is the only President this has been done against, and it is being done by the Preening peacocks of the Republican Senate. Next. Trump has over 100 nominations STILL not acted on by Thune and the arrogant Republicans. That is appalling, abhorrent, inexcusable, a dereliction of their duty to the voters. The Preening peacocks of the Republican Senate are an obstacle to policies THE PEOPLE overwhelmingly voted for. I don't know if you've gotten the clue yet, but the Republican Senators are no better than the Democrat Senators. Republicans with a 53-47 majority won't even codify the DOGE cuts. Won't put into law bans on boys in girl's bathrooms, voter ID and the SAVE act- something 85% of the American people want done NOW for the next election. So, you tell me... With Republicans like that, who needs Democrats? As such, I will NOT be voting for Republicans in the Federal elections. Absolutely not. I am done with them. I will however be voting hands down across the board for MAGA state legislators and state offices- absolutely. They are largely not bought off like Congress in a vast majority of the states. They get my vote because they FOLLOW THROUGH more times than not. You want to keep voting for these Federal Republican bozos- be my guest. I'm done after 50 years of them blaming Democrats because of "procedure" that as a former STATE legislator myself, I know to be an utter garbage excuse. They can accomplish a standing/talking filibuster and get things done, but instead, they leave trump's nominees hanging, us hanging, and they do the unimaginable- they Flocking go on vacation. Are you kidding me? It almost inclines me to vote Democrat just to shove my displeasure as a voter down their throats, hoping the Democrats institute a ridiculous wealth tax on the bastards and the corporations that fund them.

I am sick to my stomach with the Republican Senate. Sick---- to----- my----- stomach. If Trump is smart, and well... we'll leave it at that, he'll follow through with his promise to NOT sign any Senate Bill until the Save act is passed. Tell the House a veto is coming UNLESS the House amends the Senate Bill by requiring full DHS funding (we are at war for God's sake), and the SAVE ACT in full is attached. President says he can pay TSA with other money- DO IT. Call the Senate back with the CLEAR AS DAY announcement- there should be no Senator vacations if they didn't finish their homework- funding the government is their job. Take the sandals off boys and girls and put the business attire back kiddies. This isn't Spring Break, this is the real world. You do not just abandon the job you said you were going to do for the American people like that. That is irresponsible and unacceptable behavior from our Senators.
