The problem is that Musk is literally always wrong about timelines. He always accomplishes what he says he will, but it takes 3-5x longer than he says it does. That never fails and has happened time and time again. The reality is that he isnt making a mistake, he is lieing on purpose because it is necessary to secure funding and maintain public interest and news headlines. Good play, but dont listen to him.

It won’t matter.” We passed the event horizon. Retirement savings assumes scarcity persists. It won’t. AI and robotics collapse labor costs to zero. Living costs follow. You’re not saving for security. You’re saving for a world that stops existing. Musk: “If any of the things that we’ve said are true, saving for retirement will be irrelevant.”

Might be, but there is presently no evidence. It's a "squishy" theory as they say. You are aware, I assume, the UN REVOKED the now scientifically debunked idea that ONLY human emissions caused warming. We now know that was absolutely false. CO2 *can* be an amplifying effect of up to .01 of a degree temporarily, but that is it. CO2 does NOT drive temps. Not at all.

Also: since CO2 is both a feedback and a forcing, the fact that it’s leading the current warming instead of trailing as in previous interglacials is a strong piece of evidence FOR AGW, not against. The current warming is inconsistent with natural cycles.

Climate change. Canada’s boreal forest is far north. Most parts of it only reach 64F (18C) averages in the heat of the summer. Its density and climate also means it gets very little evaporation compared to its rainfall, and is subject to frost 9 months of the year, and heavy fog the rest of the time. This kept this biome very humid, kept soil damp, and left most of the low level foliage coated in dew all day long. Some parts of the forest even had thick levels of permafrost beneath the topsoil that on rare hot days would seep water back into the ecosystem. Just as many wildfires started by lightning strike in previous decades as now. The difference is they struggled to catch and spread in this damp environment. Now extreme dry weather, record breaking heat, northern thaw, erode that protective moisture barrier, leaving the boreal forest vulnerable especially in the more southern parts. Boreal forests previously went through this process naturally when an over density caused a drier environment you’d get high-intensity crown fires that were cyclical. Every 50-200 years depending on region. Now we get them annually. Boreal forest fires are much more severe than others too. The long history of cyclical burns means the soil contains charcoal, the thick multi-layer foliage adds fodder and causes the fire to spread quickly, and pine, spruce, and aspens are all some of the trees with both the most density and the best for wood burning. It results in towering forest fires of immense heat and rapid spread. These forests are denser than anything else in North America or Europe, and the current fire in Ontario alone, is the same square mileage as the entire state of Delaware. From the time it ignited, to covering that size, took less than 20 hours. While some in the US still think climate change is a hoax, we are all going to deal with the consequences of it, as we’ve turned the largest forest in the world into a tinder box, and fires in less than 0.01% of it drowns the entire continent in smoke.

The US govt debt just reached a new all-time high of $39.5 trillion. It will reach $40 trillion within 3 or 4 months. 42% of all income tax revenue now goes to paying interest on the national debt. The debt will never be reduced. When bonds come due, the govt refinances at the current higher rates. This increases interest payments the govt pays. in the next 12 months, about $9 trillion in US govt debt will come due. The US treasury will need to refinance $9 trillion, plus they need to sell over $2 trillion in additional bonds (new debt) to cover the govt budget deficit. The key issue you have to consider is how this will affect you and your family. The US govt debt is swallowing the budget. The interest payments will likely consume more than 50% of all income tax revenue in a few years. At some point this financial Ponzi causes bond buyers to demand higher rates for the risk of owning US govt debt. The US govt will always pay it's debt, but if the Fed has to print money (digitally) to monetize the debt, then the US dollar declines in value. That affects your buying power and quality of life dramatically. Everything gets more expensive, but your income doesn't keep up with the process.

Total U.S. Dollar amount of GDP last year was apx 30.7 Trillion. The amount of mineable gold on the planet is apx 7.8 billion ounces. We have mined apx. 7.1 billion ounces. Most it pulled out of the ground since the 1950's with more efficient mining technology that exists to today. There is more gold on the planet than 7.8 billion ounces, but it is located deep in the crust and inaccessible. Other known deposits are simply unable to be accessed- it would cost more to mine it than the gold is worth. Suffice to say, the value of all accessible gold on the entire planet is 31.8 Trillion All the gold in the entire world, mined and known to be available to be mined, would only "back" just the United State's U.S. Dollar GDP each year and then some, but the U.S. would have to abscond all of the world's gold held in reserve for every single nation on the planet. Point being, there does not exist enough gold on the planet to back the U.S. Dollar AND the rest of the world's trillion and trillions of currency values. Impossible to do. As such, it was clear to the U.S. and the rest of the world in the 1970's, there was no way the United States could back up our currency in reality, using gold. There simply was not enough gold on the planet . So, the U.S. said what everyone already knew was coming- the world had to rely on something OTHER THAN GOLD to back up,the world's various currencies. There does not exist enough gold in the planet to continue the charade. The U.S. declared that its currency, which was then used by so many other nations as their "reserve currency" was NOT going to be pegged to the price of gold. It was impossible, and would remain impossible for anyone or any country to claim that their currency actually had the gold in the bank vault somewhere that backed up the paper. As such, Nixon and his team proposed requiring that all oil be traded in U.S. Dollars, creating a more realistic "backing", although no one would be "backing" their own currencies or their reserve U.S. dollar currency with actually storage tanks of oil. In short, everyone agreed, especially the oil producers. It gave the world a reserve currency that could be stable- everyone used oil. This decision was not about debt. It was about reality- there ain't enough gold to go around for the world, so, let's stop pretending. We are all going to have to trust that nations won't just print money because they can. Some do, but they are found out and punished by the currency trading markets. Their currency is indeed devalued naturally by the market. If we use the U.S. Dollar as the only currency to buy oil with, the U.S. will have to manage its money supply to not become worthless as the unit of currency used to buy oil. During the Obama administration, rivals to the U.S., namely China, Brazil, and India, wanted to create an alternative currency to bankrupt the U.S. currency. The Obama administration had plunged the U.S. into such debt, requiring more money printing, the world was loosing faith in the U.S. Dollar. Trump stopped that by creating essentially a revolution in Venezuela, and hitting Iran, both of whom were selling oil in Chinese currency. That is over. The experiment to replace the dollar will not be happening. But how does that impact debt v. Value of currency now. We should begin to see interest rates drop. If not, the MARKET will be determining if we are too much in debt or not by SELLING THEIR DOLLARS for other currencies or other hard currencies like gold. They have already begun doing that on a massive scale. But, it was a worthless move. Scott Bessent is making sure of it.

After 40 plus years of climatology research from ice core samples, to geological evidence, to fossil evidence and sediment layers and even the fossilized Ginko leaves and tree rings, CO2 FOLLOWS temperature fluctuations. CO2 does not cause temperatures to rise. Worse yet, for the now utterly debunked "anthropogenic" theory, is that scientists now know and can replicate in a laboratory the notion that CO2 has indeed an amplifying effect on temperatures of a TEMPORARY nature, but the impact is measurable scientifically: CO2's impact is less than .01%, and even worse yet for that silly "human caused it all theory" is that this minuscule amplifying effect is completely dependent on...... wait for it... The energy that makes it from the sun to earth. Imagine that. The obvious question scientists asked was: what causes the OTHER 99.09% of warming? Over the last 40 years, we figured it out, and here's the insanely crazy, but true part: Even the sun is not in charge. The energy from the sun to earth is regulated by which particular band of the Milky Way Galaxy our SOLAR SYSTEM is traveling through. You see, our solar system is always moving through our galaxy. As it does, we encounter different densities of cosmic rays that can BLOCK the energy from the sun. When sun energy is blocked, the earth responds with GREATER cloud cover, THAT in turn begins a cooling trend. When the cosmic rays are LESS dense, MORE energy from the sun arrives on earth and the earth creates LESS clouds, THAT in turn creates a warming trend. These cosmic rays impacts overrides the orbital cycles that do in-fact bring us predictable warming and cooling trends. So, bottom line is this: if YOU think that driving an EV is going to change the trajectory of our solar system, you are a lunatic.

Used to do focus groups. You will get higher turnout for your side if you get people to be AGAINST the opponent- emotionally, viscerally. If we take that away from the Democrat/leftists, we can possibly win the midterms with Trump, but if he fails to get gas under $2 and inflation under 2%, he's toast- there is then every reason for Gen X and the indies to be against Trump as a guy who made promises he did not keep. Let me ask you this: can you honestly accept the statement "promises made, promises kept" coming from Trump? For the Gen X and indies, they balk at the thought of that right now. Trump needs them in the midterms, but he does not have them, therefore, he will lose the midterms. Tell me I'm wrong the day after the mid-terms, I will not be incorrect. Bank on it.
