I’m 27 years sober today

In 8 days I leave on my first big research cruise. I fly to Guam along with a team of international scientists, from where we’ll embark on R/V Thompson. We will use ROV JASON to sample vent fluids at the serpentinite-hosted ecosystem Shinkai Seep and recover forearc peridotite!

@beckyhartung Yes! And besides JPL, our former “east lot” is the start of hiking trails, so it would be a win-win, especially lowering traffic onto Lab. I hadn’t thought about connecting the Rose Bowl and Huntington. Lots of people “gravity” in those spots!

@cirquelar Maybe even a cool street car that could run parallel to Arroyo Seco, across Colorado, and down Allen to the gardens.

Would anyone else love to see this line extend to North Hollywood through Eagle Rock, Glendale, and Burbank? Del Mar Station or even Sierra Madre Station could house A Line and L Line as a transfer station to downtown.
