@0rjcfm5x9k7ywr that was quite an astute observation honestly, Lace. do you often pay attention to editing choices in a cinema? haha, it’s nowhere near as emotionally draining as The Bear. unlike The Bear which keeps the tension high all season, I would say The Pitt’s escalation is more gradual

@0rjcfm5x9k7ywr they did! I watched some of their interviews and apparently they intentionally recreated the exact lighting used in actual EDs to make the scenes feel more realistic. it’s likely editing played a part too but from what I gathered, the real lighting did most of the hard work

@Ethernacht i’ve watched everything. would it be fair to assume that those two are to your liking because of their medical-focused storytelling? if so, The Pitt might do! the show is also known for its medical accuracy whereas Grey’s feels more like a soap opera that take place in hospital

@0rjcfm5x9k7ywr also, the show prides itself on being a fairly realistic medical drama and doesn’t have the unnecessary romance plots I find repulsive in other shows so that’s kind of a plus point from me

@0rjcfm5x9k7ywr because the show won’t explain everything blatantly, and you might miss an entire character’s backstory! isn’t that interesting? if you like a show that makes you play with your focus, I think it’ll be a good choice to keep going :)
