New @OpenAI Chatgpt 5.5 is amazing (huge upgrade)
New @claudeai Opus 4.7 is amazing but burns tokens
Chatgpt 5.5 is the best bang for your buck on Hermes or Openclaw the rest are a waste of time & money
Also Codex desktop app is as good or better than Claude desktop now

I've been coding exclusively with Codex all day while waiting for my Claude token limit to reset. Definitely it's a more confident model for coding tasks compared to Opus.
Codex is like a confident Staff+ engineer. Focused and high quality output in one shot.
Claude is like a senior engineer who is capable, but still unsure of themselves. Needs regular praise and re-assurance.

had my first claude im sorry moment recently as well. my guess is opus 1m context is dumb as the context filled up. went back to 200k context via `/model opus` in the cli.
