When Tyler Brodsky took his two young daughters into an empty women's restroom at a gas station during a road trip from Florida back home to Oklahoma, he wasn't expecting a visit from the police. Brodsky recorded the now-viral moment a man demanded he leave the restroom because it is for women only — an interaction that scared the girls and forced the manager to intervene. CBS News' @JaredOchacher spoke with Brodsky about the experience, during which he says he tried to remain calm.

Today the European Parliament voted 418-218 to pass the strictest migration law in EU history. When the result was announced, MEPs started chanting. "Send them back." Inside the parliament chamber. On the floor. In 2026. Here's what the law actually does: — Deportation orders now apply across all EU member states. You can't evade removal by crossing a border. — Detention before deportation extended from 6 months to 30 months. Unlimited for security threats. — "Return hubs" in third countries. Migrants can be transferred outside the EU while awaiting deportation — including families with children. — Automatic deportation stays while appeals are pending? Gone. Courts decide case by case. — Entry bans double from 5 to 10 years. Lifetime bans for security risks. Currently only about 20% of people ordered deported from the EU actually leave. For years European leaders told voters that open borders and mass migration were non-negotiable — that wanting enforcement meant you were a fascist. 418 Members of the European Parliament just disagreed. Trump proved his immigration policies were popular enough to win elections. After a wave of right-wing electoral gains across the continent, Europe is following in his footsteps. And the Overton Window is getting kicked off its hinges.

Clearly exhausted and struggling to stay awake, baby Preston Davey is seen in heartbreaking footage released by police just weeks before his death. A jury has now found Jamie Varley, 37, guilty in connection with the abuse, neglect, and murder of 13-month-old Preston. Investigators say the video shows Preston repeatedly trying to fall asleep, the night before his 1st birthday... while loud music plays in the background, only to be startled awake moments later with one of his adoptive fathers screaming "BOO!" Prosecutors argued that Preston endured unimaginable suffering in the weeks leading up to his death. The toddler was later found to have suffered dozens of injuries... including internal from SA. The case has shocked many, serving as a painful reminder that the most vulnerable children depend entirely on the adults entrusted to protect them.

@Davidlebarron4 @queenie4rmnola Other countries do not want African Americans if they are troublesome. Not even black majority countries want them if they go in with the wrong attitude and mindset. All blacks, despite what the left wants us to believe, are not the same. Culture matters greatly.

Sadly, this is true. African Americans have a murder problem within their ranks. They kill each other with abandon and then freak out when a non-black person kills a black individual. The whole thing is beyond ridiculous. Black Americans need to fix themselves.

A story is about to break out that could lead to riots. A mother and her friend went to Walmart and were shoplifting. Walmart security called the police when they refused to stop. The police showed up and gave verbal commands to stop the car. The subject then tried to run over the officers. They fired one shot into the driver's side, and it ended up striking 1-year-old Kohen Wiley. @nicksortor Mississippi has already seen light protests breaking out.

My mom cried on her birthday because I waited until 5:30 PM to call her. Yeah, you read that right. I'm 30, she's 74. I finished work, picked up the phone, and wished her a happy birthday. To me, that's a normal evening call. But she was so upset I hadn't called or texted earlier that day, she actually started crying on the phone. Now I feel like the absolute worst person for making her emotional on her special day, but I'm also really taken aback by the whole thing. Was I in the wrong?
