Good morning. Due to the weather we have some road blockages and nonfunctional traffic lights in Davis. Streets that are blocked: 2500 block of Dennison Drive Feather/ Cabot 500 Block of Reed Shasta/ Hampton Traffic lights are out on 5th St from F street to Sycamore.

Road 102 has been reopened and the traffic lights that were not working are now functioning again. Thank you for your patience.

lease be advised that County road 102 is currently closed between Rd 29 and Moore Blvd due to a collision. CHP is currently on scene. Traffic lights are also out at the intersections of Pole line Rd and Covell Blvd and Poleline Rd and Loyola Dr.

UPDATE: @cityofdavispd announced an arrest Monday morning in connection with a fatal hit-and-run collision that occurred Sunday night.

Davis Police Officers are currently investigating a fatal collision on Olive Drive. Olive Drive is currently closed to through traffic. We expect the closure to last several hours and ask people to avoid the area.

On or around 12/2, a Davis resident reported a theft of a catalytic converter at the Portage Bay Apartments on Portage Bay West. *still shot of the vehicle, a 2004-2008 Acura TL and a stock photo of the make and model.

On Sunday 11/22/2020, DPD responded to a report of a catalytic converter theft from a Toyota Prius. The suspect was described as a white male adult, brown hair, brown eyes & brown goatee. If you recognize this person please call 530-747-5400

On 11/17/20, Apex Cycle in downtown Davis was burglarized and very distinctive bicycles were stolen; worth over $17,000.00. On 12/01/20, patrol officers assisted the Davis Police Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Unit with the arrest of Devon Quinn (36)
