Seminole 2030 meeting in ten minutes!!

Crews are sanding intersections and slick spots. Other crews are plowing residential streets. Please call city hall if you hear complaints.

Bravo street crews. Major threat is that Black ice is now forming on apparently clean pieces of road. Expect accidents early in the AM.

Snow is ending. Road conditions are slick. Crews report good progress on snow removal. Snow routes should be passable for emergencies.

Cityhall is closed due to the weather, street crews are out clearing snow routes.

Weather service is calling for 4-6 inches of snow Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Snow and ice removal remains difficult. Early Sleet layer underneath has formed an ice barrier that plows cannot get under.

Fire Dept has made 12 runs to help get medications to shut-ins. In some cases FD is getting dailysis people to hosp. Call 382-1314 for help.

City has another road grader and front end loader on the way to aid in snow removal. Public isnt taking slick/hazard warnings seriously.

Road crews report sand trucks have been in one non-injury (head on) collision, several near misses, forced off the road numerous times.

Snow routes should see improve Saturday afternoon with rising temps and added equipment/manpower. Secondary roads cannot be addressed yet.

All hills i.e. First Bptist, hidden lakes, Swearingen etc are slick and not passable in non 4 wheel drive vehicles. Sand crews are working

City Hall is closing at 2pm today, due to more bad weather. The sanders and graders are out working clearing snow routes.

City Hall is open for business today. We have staff in the water office to take payments and answer phones for questions.

Seminole City Hall will open at 10 a.m. Thursday. Although we did see some thaw, it is expected to refreeze overnight.

Roads are still slick and hazardous. Plowing has removed alot of snow. However, a base of sleet and packed snow is being very stubborn.

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday. Only essential emergency and transportation personnel report.
