i read that it's possible that there's a link between anorexia nervosa and autism. and even though i dont think its caused by "body image" for lars, trying to fit in with society is something he does in canon and that can also cause eating disorders for autistic people

so many scenes of lars refusing to eat for me to not think that he has feeding problems/eating disorders. i don't think they're coming from a place of losing/gaining weight but more like a diet restriction as a coping mechanism to mask emotions and anxiety
