On 12/03/2022, officers responded to the Crossings at Indian Run in Stuart, in reference to a shooting. Ri'ahj Lee Thomas entered the apartment and shot the victim. Thomas is wanted in questioning of this shooting. If you see Thomas, do not approach, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Stuart Police Det. are actively investigating a shooting that occurred on 10th Street at 7:40pm on Thanksgiving evening. 3 individuals were shot, 2 critically and one is deceased. To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, no other info will be released at this time.

The FEC railroad bridge in Stuart is unable to close. This is causing a problem for the northbound train. All intersections are blocked throughout Stuart from Flagler Ave to Indian St. If you need to cross the tracks, cross at Indian Street or south.
