@BreezyGuitar @Capybara8088 @PopTingz i don't want to generalize at all though because both happen, especially to women who have PTSD/Cptsd and get misdiagnosed with BPD. anything can be misdiagnosed, I'm just glad BPD is getting more acknowledgement in medical spaces- and this thinking can be reductive to that.

@BreezyGuitar @Capybara8088 @PopTingz I'm sure both cases happen, but the inverse of this happens a LOT. people with BPD very frequently get misdiagnosed with all of those, especially bipolar. doctors are also often hesitant to diagnose it in adolescents, so it gets overlooked.
