Thanks @DigiLeaders for a great day @The_Lowry looking at Public Services in the Age of AI. Some great talks and discussions throughout the day. Going home inspired and “thought provoked” to see how we do more

Such brilliant news. I have the honour of chairing the Members Board at Prospere Learning Trust and know how great Grange School is. This recognition is thoroughly deserved - here’s to the final #BestSchoolPrizes2024

We are doing a survey of LGBT people and their career progress to establish whether there are any barriers. Please could you complete it and then forward it to anyone you know in the UK who is LGBT and ask them to complete it. Thanks so much xx

@cjgrayuk Failed to deliver on your timescale but something should be in your outlook inbox now! You’re a rascal for challenging me - you knew I wouldn’t be able to resist 😂

This is just so depressing; as if the £189 standard single in the morning wasn’t already pricing people off the trains. I often wonder whether “HS2” as a name was a key problem and people just assumed it was all about speed, not fundamental future capacity
Ben Gartside@BenGartside
Scoop: HS2 cancellation will mean fares increase between London and the north to reduce travellers amid capacity problems. There will be 8% fewer seats on future trains after the high-speed line was scrapped, and prices are set to go up to reduce demand inews.co.uk/news/politics/…

@jimmoran Absolutely opted out when I was there last week ☔️ though is due to get better so fingers crossed

A great read and timely as today I’m living our UK infrastructure failings in real time. Cancelled flight into MAN this morning, 40mins in LHR waiting on tarmac in for gate once landed, finally made the Avanti train north but of course the aircon is of course in heat mode 🥵 😤

Ok time to release this into the wild. I spent two weeks during this election campaign trundling around the north on public transport, talking to people about their places. Hopefully I managed to capture a few things on.ft.com/4ch4NWL
