mkv saves all your footage until it crashes, mp4 won't. mp4 is faster to edit, but you won't be able to recover anything from mp4 if OBS crashes suddenly. 'automatically remux to mp4' creates a second video file in mp4 format when you stop recording, so you'll have both formats.

@thelillygaddis to avoid losing video if OBS crashes, change your recording format to mkv instead of mp4 in settings > output > recording > recording format > mkv if you really want mp4 as well, you can go to settings > advanced > recording > check 'automatically remux to mp4

@BigJohnCogs john you've got some sort of a mic input loop going on, or your recording input is being captured from two sources. either mic+stereo mix, mic+earbuds with earbuds set as a monitor, or mic+speakers as a monitor looping back through the mic. either way your voice is doubled

🇨🇦Indian men are flying into Canada from US that have severe heart conditions to get free surgeries and skip the lines. This is from a nurse that works with a surgeon. Here is how it works: They already have a severe diagnosed condition but they have no insurance. So they jump on a plane to Canada. When they land they go to hospital emergency and complain about it. Because of the severity they are fast tracked for a surgery and skip the line. Surgery is completely and they fly home. In US a private surgery for heart can be 150k US. A nurse that works with a surgeon in Calgary said she has seen 7 cases in the last couple of years but she said that’s just her. She said the systems are not set up properly to confirm they will actually get paid and after the surgeries they don’t get paid. Apprently even the surgeon will not be paid for the surgery if the medical system is not paid for the procedure but someone might have to confirm this? As for the Indian man reference she said all of the cases she has seen have been Indian men. Can anyone confirm this type of scam is going on at Canadian hospitals?
