I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me.

🎵Jolly Papa – Rex Lawson. I infused a blend of Twi, Kalabari, and Igbo into this beautiful classic. African languages are rich, diverse, and truly beautiful, this is a celebration of their harmony and heritage. 💜🦅

Anytime I come to the village, my resolve to build a lakefront house here grows stronger.

I also felt bad for Ekene. He genuinely liked Amarachi and she tried to tell him that she doesn't feel the same way about him. However, with a mother like Nneka Obinze...

Is there hope for antidote? We can’t continue like this please 😩😩😩😩

Uju nwa! She definitely role-modelled bottom-up leadership. It took her intervention for Amarachi's instincts to kick in. Uju is a reminder of why we must never cease to use our voices wherever we find ourselves. They may drive that CRUCIAL difference in outcomes.

That's why Uju's character was kind of my favourite. The rebellious younger daughter who had to remind her older sister that she's so stuck with being the "Ada" that she's let everyone run her life for her. At the end of the day, people will look out for only themselves.

An interesting watch, Rita. Both parents had their crazy moments. At no point did they feel the need to say: "Amy kedụ ife ilo?". The theme of infantilisation by Nigerian parents was my biggest take away.

My cousin and her Mother-in-law will not kill me with laughter 😂😂😂 IJU ESE is getting people in their feels.

which one of you told bobrisky that good evening is mgbede oma???? what the hell is mgbede oma??? 😭😭
