It was incredible to see a 92-year-old woman from a Churchill's long-term care facility, dressed in red, stand up from her wheelchair and start moving and tapping along with the Bhangra dance movements. It was truly a remarkable sight to behold how she began to move herself to the rhythm of the beat, her eyes sparkling with joy and excitement. This is an excellent example of guided movement activities, and hearing words of positivity can greatly benefit seniors and people of all ages. It's common to feel down at times, but by incorporating movement and uplifting words into our daily routines, we can experience tremendous benefits to our mental and physical health.

Hello everyone, I have some exciting news to share! The highlight of my visit to Churchill just happened. I just saw two beautiful polar bears - a mother and cub - near Hudson Bay. I am so thankful to my new friend in Churchill, Leroy Whitmore from Sub-Arctic Tours, for giving me a ride and capturing this unforgettable moment in a photo! I am also grateful to the mother bear and her cub for allowing me to take this photo 🙏🏽! Mama bear picked up her head to have a quick peek when the photo was being taken and then rested it back on the land to continue relaxing with her baby 🧡. It was a really touching moment to watch nature's love in this way. 🌹
