7/ CKBA, therefore, is not a controller, but a social coordination layer. A way to bring contributors, resources, and long-term supporters into a legal structure that enables easier participation, greater transparency, and better coordination than the previous foundation-based model.

We’ve spent the past months rethinking how a genuinely decentralized ecosystem should be governed. Not just how they’re set up—but how they evolve. How the voices that matter most are actually heard. That work is about to become visible 👀

For years, crypto projects defaulted to foundations—rigid structures adopted out of necessity. But the conditions that shaped that choice have changed. The design space has opened up. We’ve been thinking about this a lot 👀
