I fixed the horrendous character design in @MarathonTheGame without even trying. One request to they improved. If I worked on each character for 2 hours (MAX!) they would be immaculate.
There's no excuse for what they released. None.

☝️ GENERAL TIPS
Some contracts are zone-specific.
Hover over contract objectives on the map screen for info on where to complete them
Inspect weapons out of run (V / Triangle / Y) to bring up a mod workbench
Crouching makes heat dissipate faster
🥊 COMBAT TIPS
Entering smoke fully drops UESC aggro
Some weapons have Z / Left D-Pad functions like alt. scopes and gun shields
Headshots deal 50 to 140 percent bonus damage depending on weapon
Containers on the outskirts are more likely to have healing items
📦 AMMO TIPS
Sponsored Kits come with Ammo Crates
Check bodies for Ammo Crates, not just ammo
Conserve ammo by knifing low-level enemies
Containers on the outskirts are more likely to have ammo
💎 ARMORY TIPS
Faction shops periodically refresh. Check for good deals!
Some items are bartered for loot, not sold for credits
Track needed loot (R / R3) to mark drops in-game
Trade Unstable (gray-tier) materials for ammo and healing items

@Buincey Marathon has ticked every box for me! As someone who hasn’t really dabbled in extraction shooters, getting to know the lore and how to play the game has been so fun! More people need to give this game a go. Such an enjoyable experience! Even when losing a lot of good gear!

As someone who isn’t normally an extraction shooter fan, this game is amazing. Yes, it obviously has some issues that will hopefully get fixed.
I can honestly say this is some of the most fun I’ve had gaming in years

14 Hours of Marathon Thoughts
- Gunplay is super smooth, enjoyable
- Fights feel fun, they have depth with abilites (no spam is awesome)
-When full game releases, there will be plenty of builds to chase on each shell

Tried it .. boring, empty, slow. Graphics good, gameplay trash.
$150M wasted. Skip the $40. DOA.
