The Rangers have I think four players getting arbitration money those are Jake Burger, Josh Jung, Josh Smith, and Ezequiel Duran.
My predictions on the Arb dollars
Burger: 3 million
Duran: 1.25-1.5 million
Smith: 2.25 million
Jung: 2.25 million
That adds up to 9-9.25 million
Alright lets get to some additions
Re-sign RP Shawn Armstrong- 6.5 million AAV for 2 years (yes that might surprise y’all but I feel like that’s going to be what it takes to get him, he’s going to want a multi year deal)
Sign RP Mark Leiter Jr- 1 year 2 million
Sign RP Colin Holderman- 1 year 1 million
Sign SP Jose Quintana- 1 year 5.5 million
Sign RP Ryan Helsley- 1 year 13 million with an option for a 2nd year
Trade for catcher Joey Bart (FA after 2027) 2.25 million in arbitration
Sign Rob Refsnyder- 1 year 4 million
This additions add up to a total of 34.25 million. With the additions plus the guaranteed contracts and arbitration eligible players it should add up to around 208 million. My math could be off obviously
