A yahoo boy came to marry my 23-year-old sister last December. She told us in October last year that her boyfriend would be coming to pay her bride price in December. Fortunately, they came for an introduction before then. They arrived with three cars. When they entered our compound, my sister’s husband-to-be was holding up his trousers with his hand. I was shocked. I asked her how old the guy was, and she said he was 25 years old. When they left, my dad called her and told her that the marriage would not hold because he observed something strange about the guy. My sister ran after them and followed them home. After five days, she came back with brûises on her left eye. My dad saw her and walked past without saying anything. She has never mentioned that guy again since then.

@Osuolale95 @prettyboyxane @dawisu What I mean here is. Father failed to instill discipline and should’ve let the son know that you earned money, not given. You earned every kobo you spend

The man was our direct neighbour in Guzape. He was hardly around because he spent most of his time out of the country. In fact, he had just returned from Turkey barely two days before his son killed him. His children lived in the house and lacked nothing. They even had an inverter, and my sister would often joke about their electricity bill because their ACs were almost always on, especially in this Adelabu Band A era. Only for the shocking truth to emerge that his own son killed him. At first, the boy tried to make it look like armed robbers had attacked the house. But thankfully, a neighbour’s CCTV camera was reviewed, and it showed that he was the last person to enter the compound with his girlfriend around 2am. Honestly, this world is becoming frightening. It is heartbreaking that a son could do something like this to his own father! 😪
RAD. Abu Bakr@Northorious

Billonaire businessman Chief Godwin Chinedu Adimike was reportedly murdered at his Number 3 Hassan Adamu street, Guzape Abuja by his 21 year old son, who is currently a service NYSC member, on Friday May 15 2026. He was stabbed multiple times by his son after a heated argument. His son confronted him of being stingy with money, citing how some of his friends' fathers, who were not as wealthy, buy cars for their children. The deceased on the other day, accused his son of being extravagant and mismanaging funds. Following the argument, his son stabbed him thrice, and he died at the spot. It was reported that on this fate ful day, his son had returned from club with two ladies on. And he killed his father in their presence. He's currently in police custody.

@OgbonnaAustino @dawisu changing times: peak wokeness era, degrading value system, influence of social media. for the most part, what you have always understood as discipline is casually termed abuse today. the excessive push for liberalism comes with its very grave price.

I have thought of what could have happened, parental upbringing has a lot to do with love between parents and their kids. Growing up no amount of punishment from our parents couldn make one think of such sacrilege,I am always of the opinion of strict upbringing and being always available in the life’s of our children.

@omaakatugba Relegated Burnley made more money from the Premiership league more than Barcelona the Laliga champion. Does that stop Barcelona from being the champions? I am not sure you hav gone to see any local league games even if it's being played at your home town.

@UNOFFICIALFACT You and that Baba no well if he had to wait for Adelabu to resign before he fired him. Someone who couldn't provide a stable electricity for your people approached you to install solar system in Aso Rock and you agreed. Who Is more useless between Adelabu and the President???

The former minister of power who promised to improve electricity supply in Nigeria, increase the National grid output, ensure every household in Nigeria have access to prepaid meter, ensure cheap and affordable electricity left the nations power sector in comatose. He not only kept AsoRock his employers in perpetual darkness, he removed them from the National grid, and installed solar panels because there was no hope. At the height when the National grid was falling like mango every eke market day, he had the effrontery to declare his intentions to contest for the position of Oyo State Governor. Baba Tinubu smiled and gave him his blessings, asked him to resign, so he can start the preparation for his Governorship campaign. Baba immediately replaced him, then went behind to carry him over 2.5, no Goal-Goal in the primaries. You kept Nigerians in darkness, kept AsoRock in darkness, yet you want to run to Oyo state to enjoy free government luxury for 8 years. You want to enjoy 24/7 government house powered electricity after failing woefully as minister of power. Oga return back to the labour market and start all over again to hustle. Keep calling oooooo. The number you are calling is out of reach, and can never be available until after Oyo state governorship election.

@DavidHundeyin This guy is not even thinking. He’s the type that’ll watch steps on how to mold clay pots on NTA. Mind you he just saw the Iranians learning how to handle rifle on national TV to defend their land from imperialism. He can’t connect the dots. He rather wail out to US for help.

That's precisely why major national decisions such as permitting the presence of foreign military deployment on your soil must be made by people who know their arse from their elbow, not "the market woman." I don't give a single fuck what geopolitical decisions the "market woman" thinks Nigeria should make. Her opinion carries the same weight as that of the basket of Cameroon pepper slowly rotting in front of her while she waits for customers in the same smelly open market she has spent the past 15 years of her life. We are talking about major decisions affecting the life and death of 200 million people. Who gives a fuck what the "market woman" thinks should or shouldn't happen? What the fuck does she know about anything?
Jerry livingstones@Golddigger124

@DavidHundeyin David I understand your logic, but on a neutral plane what has the government of Nigeria done that has been commendable in tackling insecurity Your answer is obviously nothing, so a market women will literally see the 47th as a saviour because the institution of Nigeria
