How many other business owners paying their PTE estimates are as frustrated as me? This is the first year that I am really second guessing the taxing I am paying in MN.

🚨 This is a prime example of the BILLIONS of dollars in fraud happening right now in Minnesota, this is one of the hundreds of “daycares” receiving millions of dollars from the government, this daycare (that can’t even spell learning right) received $1,900,000 in tax exempt funding from CCAP in 2025. This is just one of the 1,000’s of fraudulent businesses operating in Minnesota.

You are confusing employees and small business owners. I won’t disagree that this law is great for employees and if You are the owner of the business, you can take leave right now and get paid. But most of us can’t because of the responsibilities that go with owning a small business. If people thst own businesses start replying to this chain telling me that this is good for them I am wrong and I will need to learn from them. Because like I said earlier, if I leave for 12 weeks chances are I do not have a business to come back to.

@meinminnie1 @Koasnipes @5wireflowers The original post is about small business owners being able to take advantage of PFML. This I challenged. Most are not W-2 employees in their own business, and if you own a business the likelihood of you being able to leave your business for that long is minimal.

@Koasnipes @5wireflowers @ckone47 Yes this is a scenario that can happen. The leave does need to qualify and a health care provider needs to verify the need for leave. It’s a tragedy that people don’t want loved ones taken care of in time of need.

🚨#BREAKING: An 85-year-old widow called a North Carolina tree removal company, begging for firewood to keep her house warm, but said she couldn't pay them.
