@christimar10 @MWholesome8982 I’m curious—do you find it annoying to have to figure out which item is rolled up if you have a lot of nondescript pieces? organizing packing cubes by item type or leg of my trip helps so much with this but I do know that rolling helps with space as well.

@MWholesome8982 @claaaarke_ I am also team roll. No matter what I do I cannot get any variation of packing cube to work. I use one for socks/undergarments the rest is all rolled and puzzled together.

I refuse to believe that people are still packing suitcases without using compression packing cubes in 2025

@shmokayyy @muniirraa_ Organizing everything and never needing a checked bag. I can travel for weeks at a time in a carry on because it helps me compress all my stuff. If you’re just traveling for a weekend, they’re less essential but I still love separating all my stuff. 100% a must for long trips tho

@MelissaWeber Yessssss! being able to separate everything is so key. Especially when I’m traveling out of the same suitcase but have multiple destinations throughout a single trip—it’s basically like having a mini suitcase for each place! I seriously cannot pack without them lol

@claaaarke_ The thing i love about packing is cubes is i can put the dirty clothes in one, and it makes my life easier when I get home.

@ExileftNini I used to roll when I was in high school and it definitely does fit a lot but I hate having 0 organization and having to try to guess what different rolled items are before completely unrolling everything 😅 packing cubes give me the best of both worldsss

@claaaarke_ I’ve been rolling my clothes my whole life basically cause we started traveling back and forth when I was 11 months old so packing cubes don’t do much for me!

@Obiwansinobi It would say ad if it was. Don’t even mean that in a rude way but it’s so funny how many people think this is an ad and there’s no brand mentioned in the tweet? 😅

@thursdaymelo No. I’ve not had any issues using these in my carry on flying to/from/around Canada, France, London, Switzerland, Germany or Spain multiple times over the last few years.

@fireashdustlife idk if you’re a Marshall’s person or TJ Maxxer lol but look in the travel section next time you go (if you do)—have been using them for the last 10 years they are a game changer!

@c_lene97 they really do!! I actually never check a suitcase anymore haha. they also force me to be much more intentional about what I’m packing which keeps me sane when I have a bunch of travel lined up! 12/10 for me

@FollowBryWoo I could definitely see them not being as useful for men for those reasons! They’re kind of a nightmare when you’re trying to pack jeans or thick pants but I tend to wear mostly skirts and dresses (which I’m sure you don’t lol).

@claaaarke_ I travel every other week for work and have never had the need. When I did use them they were more a nuisance than a help. It could also be a gender thing as well. Women’s clothing tend to be thinner and lighter allowing more utilization of them

@rickwolf254 I don’t get my luggage weighed bc they keep me from ever checking a bag. I frequently pack for weeks at a time using these in a carry on (as someone who works in fashion/beauty/content and often needs to pack a ton of clothes or products to shoot in). But do you!

@rickwolf254 Packing cube with an extra zipper that flattens them a bit more. It’s like the extra zipper on a lot of suitcases that help slim them down a bit to fit in the overhead bin.
