@AppleSnob_ what exactly do you do? I set charging locks to 70%-85% depending on the day and see that battery never gets lower than 25%. Did this on my tablet now, after 1 year its still at 100% (130 cycles, used every day) also for my both i use bypass charging when i can

My Pixel 9 Pro Fold still has a battery compactly of 100%. I’ve been using the methods I learned on my iPhones and applied them to other phones I have and it seems to keep the battery pretty healthy. I’ve had my Pixel 9 Pro Fold since original launch.

@OutofGalaxyy try out comaps. Its not as flashy as apple or google, but you can download parts of the earth and use it offline. Good for privacy, battery and mobile data

Rn I often switch between Apple Maps and Google Maps to see if Apple is any good in Europe And at moments it REALLY stuns me like wow

crdroid sadly comes with one non functional google app, which i wanted to delete. Normally its very easy via adb but i had no clue how to do this on the private space fix: open private space, then adb shell pm list users, in my case it was 10, when run the command with user 10

i always give myself usb internet from my phone because wifi sucks in my room what is really great for the longevity of my ace 6t is that is supports bypass charging. I set it so that it charges to 70%, then the phone only takes power directly from my pc this is so great!

@Samsung_Welt for example in the case of apps like local dream, you can use it fully offline and without promt restrictions or game native and termux, which have outdated playstore versions and then there are apps like amethyst, a minecraft java launcher, that is fully missing on playstore

@Samsung_Welt idk if this would help in that case, but when i need an app for something, i first look on fdroid or github, then on the playstore. Sideloading has been way more helpful than the playstore ever was, also apps have no restrictions this way and are higher quality

wrong(ish) takeaway you guys are all using the wrong apps if you want quality apps, stop using the playstore. Just use fdroid.

@none24smu ok, i can just tell you what i know: for me this happened because of the sim capabilities of the gsi. This also happened on another device, where i found a bypass, just disable the telephone app. probably some volte issue

@clanceeinfinity I've been considering doing it and I probably will because the current one isn't maintained well in my opinion. I have seen inklings of that happening but I haven't dug into it because I'm not at the battery and memory optimization point yet. But I will address it 😀

A Xiaomi 17 Pro (the one with the screen on the back) is the only phone right now that could make me return to a single display device. I really want one 😭

Broken duos go for cheap on eBay. The functioning Duo2 that I have , I just bit the bullet because I wanted to develop for it and I miss the duo2. Paid $70/$100 for 2 busted up duo 1 devices and about $130 for a second Duo 2 with a cracked right display and both broken back glass
