25-30 pages for first draft?
Not knowing if it would be approved or not
You're trying boss... what's the tip here?
What I do mostly, 10 pages at most for the first draft presentation then if approved, I go more into the brand style guide and deliverables

Project success doesn’t start at delivery, it starts at the very first draft presentation, Here’s exactly how I make that happen;
“I absolutely love the logo and the meaning derived from it, it is solid and stands the taste of time, it is well thought through and shows depth”
This was exactly what my client said yesterday after reviewing the first draft of the recent project we are working on.
And it gave me so much joy cause the project was a premium project from our top package… And there is alot to that project.
But here are 2 hacks I use all the time to make this happen,
❗️Stay with me let me put you on
🔺I Lead with context not just visual design…: The truth is; When people understand the “why” behind a design decision, they evaluate it with purpose not just personal taste.
It shifts the conversation from “I don’t like it” to “does this solve the problem?” {Read Twice}
On that particular project I added over 3 documents explaining creative directions and a lot of things and that? Was just the tick off!
🔺Present with intention, not options; I don’t walk into a first draft with 5 variations hoping one sticks. I present one strong, well-reasoned direction, at most two.
Too many options create confusion and dilute trust but I’ve realized that one or two direction says: I’ve done the thinking so you don’t have to.
Here is the pinning, I don’t just send one or two options I back it up with a concrete presentation, my first draft is usually over 25 or 30 pages of presentations.

Now you see? pure strategy and narrowed process!
Well, we are at the middle of the month and I have 2 slots for a solid brand or company who wants to build a solid brand, check the comment session to book a call and make it to our schedule.
