UPDATE - After a long discussion, this matter has been RESOLVED. Rizen and I have come to an agreement. I appreciate everyone who showed support and shared the thread. One correction though: in 4/5, the part about RIZEN being involved in the PayPal dispute evidence was based on what I understood at the time since he was one of only two active people in the ticket besides me. That was the client acting on his own, not Rizen. That part of the thread was inaccurate and I want to be transparent about that. The thread stays up as a reminder to freelancers to document everything and know your rights.

5/5 After everything, I reached out to the server owner (his discord username is "itzjimjam") directly, explained the full situation, and asked him to review how it had been handled. After 19 hours of no response, I informed him that if I did not hear back within 12 hours I would be sharing this publicly. Still nothing. I have since spoken to multiple freelancers, including some from RIZEN's older server called SMP Sales, which operated in a similar space. The stories I heard were not much different from mine. This is not about one miscommunication or one difficult client. It is a pattern that goes back further than this server. If you are a freelancer in the Minecraft space, please document everything. Keep proof of every delivery, every agreement, and every conversation. Some commission servers will not protect you when things go wrong. If you are a freelancer who has had a bad experience with this server or his old server SMP Sales, I encourage you to share it. 1/5 I want to talk about my experience with "Astrix | Commission Studio", a Minecraft commission server, and how they treated me as a freelancer. After speaking with other freelancers who have dealt with them, I do not think my situation was isolated. I do animation work, and this was my first ever animation commission from this server.
