Meet Aurora Edwards! Aurora just won the GOLD medal in Restaurant Service at the State level SkillsUSA competition in Columbus!! Aurora is now off to Nationals in Atlanta!! Congrats!! We are all very proud of you!

This week we had our first food truck visit from Manny's Munchies! Staff gets to order a great lunch, and culinary students get to tour a real food truck and ask the owners questions that will help them with their own food truck projects!

Clay's agriculture program is amazing! They grow it, we cook it!

Last month we had an exciting (and rainy/wet) field trip to Erie Orchard & Cider Mill! The culinary students learned about different apples, the cider/doughnut making process, & picked out a pumpkin for their carving competition! Winners received gift card to Deets BBQ or Haas!

Today, the Jr and Sr culinary students got to show off their skills AND bring smiles to our amazing staff and administrators at Clay during lunch! Mobile sales were a hit!

Fact: Teachers hate cooking on Fridays. The Golden Eagle Cafe at Clay is now offering Grab-N-Go meals to take home for dinner each Friday! This week: Parmesan Gnocchi with a Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Sauce and Garlic Butter Green Beans
