CAPS Med spent the week introducing 7th and 8th grade CL students to the world of healthcare by conducting hands-on activities, sharing their experiences, and educating students about the work and skills involved in the healthcare industry. Great work!

The North Cohort of @SiouxlandCAPS took a break from projects to practice communication and leadership by putting a tent together blindfolded! Thank you to the Riverboat Foundation for hosting the event.

Yesterday I followed up with the @clcaps associates about “High Road Leadership” by @TheJohnCMaxwell. We learned more from @learner_lab about “How to Get Better Faster” and finished with a talk from a teenager about building self confidence. #BetterTogether @SiouxlandCAPS

CAPS Med has successfully completed their onboarding and are ready to start their rotations at Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital on Monday. We are more than grateful for this continued partnership and opportunity with our local healthcare providers!

Our newest group of CAPS Med associates got to kick off their semester touring and discussing with Dr. Reynolds at Rapids Chiropractic! Associates loved the opportunity to learn more about the chiropractic world and participate in some interactive demonstrations. @SiouxlandCAPS

CAPS Med logged 50+ hours observing various departments at Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital, toured 5 local healthcare-related businesses, and completed 3 projects for the hospital. This group showed tremendous growth in their professionalism & knowledge of the healthcare industry!
