In 2016, Kayla Meyer was 9 years old when she was brutally murdered along with her mom, dad and grandfather in a farm attack in South Africa. Her parents were in another building when attackers stormed in and found her grandfather, visitng from England, making Kayla a sandwich. The half buttered sandwich was still on the kitchen counter when the bodies were found. Kayla was tied up with wire (or electric cord), stripped, gang-raped, and then brutally beaten to death with a spade (or shovel-like object). Her body was later found in a shed on the property (some accounts mention it being stuffed into a closet or similar confined space).
