It's February. I've been absent on this account for a few months. I don't know where to begin. But I am hopeful for this year. I want to do more!

There are days when you get those comments and you question your whole career. Am I actually meant to do this?

A few takeaways off the top of my head are to give value and join opensource projects. Take part in the design community. Be courageous and be confident as a designer at any level.

I took a lot of UX+ Conference photos and videos. Haha! I enjoyed it a lot. It has been awhile since I went to a conference this size. I learned so much from design industry leaders.

Wew this past weekend was exhausting! We went to Liliw during Saturday to commemorate my lola's passing. And attended UX+ Conference the following day.

Kasi right now I'm working at a startup and her experience is different from mine. Mine is actually positive. Hers wasn't so she went back to corporate. But it wasn't always that way, kasi I've also worked at not so nice ones. So ayon. Chika ko lang.

Ok stop na about planners. May nakita lang akong tiktok about a former startup employee and medyo sumakit ung puso ko kasi di ko alam if magaagree ako sa kanya.

Anyway, I've written on the Kinbor to test it and I am simply amazed! The paper is white, not cream. I prefer writing / drawing on more neutral tones so I'm really overall very happy with this!

I suddenly remembered that there's an actual Hobonichi dupe called Kinbor from China. I really wanted to be more frugal about stationery and art supplies because those ain't cheap. So I bought one at Shopee for 544. For reference, the Hobonichi is 1450 at Scribe.

It's planner buying season. I was really supposed to buy a Muji B6 Weekly planner (to be released tom 09/15) this year. So, I stalked it online and I became unsure about it because of the layout... I was seeing more vertical layouts, and I'm a horizontal layout type of human.
