Virtuals Protocol is bringing agent commerce to @BNBCHAIN. The agent economy requires more than capability. SIMD-0266 just got approved, here’s why it matters: @solana SPL Token program eats ~10% of every block’s compute. p-token replaces it with a Pinocchio-based rewrite: zero-copy, no heap allocs, same instruction set. Transfer: 4,645 → 79 CU. TransferChecked: 6,200 → 111 CU. That’s 95-98% less compute per token op, freeing ~9.5% of block capacity for everything else. 100% backward compatible, zero code changes for existing apps. New Batch instruction lets DeFi protocols bundle multiple token ops in a single CPI. Mainnet rollout expected April 2026. Combined with 100M CU blocks and Alpenglow (150ms finality), Solana’s 2026 stack is going to feel like a completely different chain.
