I had a really poor experience at my postnatal check. I arrived having had 45 mins sleep and spoke of my worries about my mum’s cancer diagnosis - the response? ‘Well apart from that, your mental health is ok?’ He then questioned, for no reason, my feeding/weight of my baby.

Well even more drama with my little man. A chicken bit his finger!! He's been walking around saying to random people "a chicken ate my hand" while waving all five fingers in the air.

He’s going to drop his hair care routine soon.

@_MissieBee I much prefer the childminder now and have already signed the baby up ( the childminder knew I was pregnant before a lot of my friends). Some nurseries try to run too much like businesses.

@clfprimary I know. Part of me is totally empathetic but the other part of me is thinking that’s not my problem, lol

@_MissieBee J goes to a childminder but briefly went to a nursery and I personally thought they did some shady things. I know nurseries are struggling though so it’s such a lose lose.

@clfprimary Well that’s what I thought but not sure what to do about it! Their argument is they can’t afford to stay open otherwise basically

Little man update: I picked them up from A and E at 2am. He was on the nebuliser a fair bit to get his oxygen levels back up. He's now on steroids to help his lungs. Thanks for all the little man love. ❤️

@clfprimary Don’t think you’re being dramatic. It is the anniversary of your birthing day and you should be honoured and space should be held for you. I have done so for the past 3yrs. This year was the first year it wasn’t necessary.

Birthdays are wild as a mother. As if we make the mother plan big events and celebrate a day that for quite a lot is a big trauma…. Anyway happy 2nd birthday to my perfect boy

@katielockett I’m just dramatic but it wasn’t a pleasant time and I think last year I didn’t think about it and then this year I feel like I really am!

@clfprimary For my son’s first 3 birthdays my focus of the day was MY birthing day. But for the first time this year (he’s just turned 4) the day actually felt like it was about him, not me. So it does change with time, but I get you!

Why does my 2 year old get 95% of a double bed?

The last two days I’ve been parenting at my MILs house and so I’ve put my 2 year old down for a nap and managed to fall asleep with him. Glorious. Childminder is back Tuesday. Thank god!!!!
