@Euro_toff @pritipatel What international law is that?
English

@pritipatel Good grief that's desperate ,horrible woman
The conservatives had nothing to do with trump changing his mind again over the Chagos deal, It is entirely down to trump having another tantrum because Starmer refuses to break international law

BREAKING NEWS:
The US delegation that was due to visit Mauritius on 24 and 25 February has postponed its trip, according to the Mauritian Government.
This is tremendous news for everyone who believes in British sovereignty. It is another humiliation for Keir Starmer’s and another sign that his appalling Chagos Surrender is dead in the water. It cannot pass without American support, and that is why the Conservatives have worked so hard to lobby our allies in the US to oppose it.
It’s time for Starmer to scrap his Surrender once and for all.

In 2023 @Keir_Starmer looked farmers in the eye & said he knew what losing a farm meant.
Farmers believed him.
After today’s budget they don’t believe him any more.

@C2Cfestival @TheO2 Brad Paisley lifted the evening to new hights. He was amazing and getting better each time I see him. Nice to see an appearance from Albert Lee joining him on 2 songs.

Carly Pearce stopped her show to thousands of people at the 02 arena to talk to me, tell me she remembers me from her London show two years ago, comment on my fan made t-shirt and tell me she's happy I'm there. She also waved at me three times. I WILL NEVER BE OVER THIS! #C2C2024

The BBC have taken down the brilliant @BBCPanorama which @JohnSweeneyRoar made on the Post Office Horizon scandal back in 2015 - shortly after Paula Vennells’ barefaced lies to the Parliamentary Select Committee, claiming that there was no evidence of any miscarriages of justice.
English

We (The PO) are mighty and we are right - they (The sub postmasters) are small and they are wrong. We (The PO) have a one way ticket to hound , frighten, bankrupt and prosecute the little ‘thieves’. We are mighty we are right.
The PO management implicated in this horrendous national scandal should face prosecution. The truth must be told. Victims should be cleared of all wrongdoing and adequately compensated.
English

Too much “business-as-usual” in Rishi Sunak’s remarks about the sub-postmasters this morning. He doesn’t get the scale of the national outrage. He should have announced Alan Johnson as head of new compensation agency, with all claims generously settled this year and bill sent to Post Office. Plus instructed government lawyers to resolve all miscarriages of justice this year too, with additional compensation. And encouraged NCA to pursue criminal charges against Post Office executives.

@ChrisClarksonMP It seems he was very clear that they did and then he says the opposite. How can you believe anything he says if he can then go on and say the opposite.

This illustrates the visceral hatred — not too strong a word — there is now for the BBC in Israel. How could this have been allowed to happen? It was unnecessary and would not have happened if the BBC had stuck to its own rigorous journalistic guidelines. A former boss of BBC TV says the BBC has “institutional fault lines which reveal bias and deep-rooted prejudice”. I hope that’s not true.

@PickardJE @FT So what is the advantage to the ordinary person of this rail link. Will people be rushing to get to Birmingham 13 minutes sooner or in reverse London. How does that help the economy. From a cost benefit point if view I can’t see this being worth it. Symbolically yes.

🚨🚨
the £70bn price tag for Britain’s beleaguered High-Speed Rail 2 project is set to be revised upwards to account for inflation within months to a figure closer to £91bn, according to calculations by the @ft
