@4130chromo @gillybean42 I used to do this with the bleach I kept in the lab for bleaching my old-school library prep gel extraction electrophoresis tank between uses. Quite glad I don’t have an office mug these days…

Illumina have released 600 cycle chemistry on the NextSeq. Order now for delivery mid-December. P1(600) = 100M reads; 2x300bp P2(600) = 300M reads; 2x300bp 4-12x the data of a MiSeq but keen to try it out and see if any good. DM me if you are interested.
