Jeff Bezos spent $500 million on the world's largest sailing yacht. Monaco won't let it in. Venice couldn't fit it. Florida luxury marinas turned it away.
No wonder he just listed it.
Koru is 417 feet. Three masts. Built by Oceanco in the Netherlands and delivered in 2022. Getting it to sea required debating whether to dismantle Rotterdam's De Hef bridge. The Dutch threatened to egg the boat. The bridge stayed. Koru got rerouted out the long way.
Then the operating life began.
Monaco Grand Prix 2025: barred from the harbor. Standard luxury moorings don't fit 417 feet.
Florida 2023: refused at the Everglades luxury marinas. Koru anchored next to oil tankers and container ships.
Venice 2025: lagoon too shallow. Bezos got married to Lauren Sánchez and the yacht he built for his life couldn't reach his own wedding.
Operating cost: $30 million per year. Crew of 36 stacked in tight quarters below 18 guests in nine staterooms. He also commissioned a $75 million support yacht, Abeona, specifically to make Koru workable. Even with Abeona shadowing it, the harbor problem never resolved.
Resale math is brutal. Custom-built superyachts typically clear at 50-60% of build cost within three years. Add the Sánchez mermaid sculpture carved into the prow and the buyer pool for a $500M used sailing yacht narrows to roughly five names on Earth, all of whom already own something comparable.
Bezos built Amazon by understanding marginal economics at every node of distribution better than anyone alive. He then commissioned a yacht whose marginal cost goes infinite at most ports.
Bigger only wins until you have to park it.

This game is going to bankrupt Rockstar. It has to sell roughly 13 million copies (at $80/each) just to break even. The rising cost in computer hardware has shrunk the potential market of those who even have the necessary specs to play it, and the writing is probably garbage.

@EllenBarryNYT Many people (including me) have stayed on them for decades b/c we were told we had a "chemical imbalance" and needed these drugs to "fix" it. If I had been given true informed consent, I would have never gone on them in the first place, esp. Effexor!

Det folk inte förstår är att allas portföljer är ATH.
Aktiemarknaden är i princip bara M2. Kanske 2%, max 3 %, är verklig tillväxt och resten är bara urholkningen av valutorna.
Priset på allt går bara upp i all evighet när fler dollar i systemet jagar samma mängd varor och tjänster.
De som sparar i aktier kommer få det bättre än de som bara håller fiat, men det kommer i slutändan vara kört för alla som inte äger bitcoin

I just smoked over 350g of top shelf weed in under a month in Thailand
Over 2 gram in each joint, after a day it didn't affect me. It's all grown in my opinion using synthetic 'plant growth regulator' to make the buds thicker and denser but lacks THC
People in the UK will tell you it's Cali weed,that's why it looks different, don't listen to them it's all the same sh*t. AVOID

Nej, Tobias. Ni stoppade inte kravlösa medborgarskap. Ni stoppade människor som följt reglerna från att få en rättvis chans.
Riksdagen har nu beslutat att skärpa kraven för svenskt medborgarskap, utan övergångsregler.
Det betyder att även de som redan har ansökt och som levt i Sverige under de villkor som gällde då, nu prövas mot helt nya krav.
Är dessa nya krav ett problem? Nej, inte nödvändigtvis. Problemet är att spelreglerna ändras nu i efterhand. Människor som har arbetat, följt reglerna, byggt och planerat för sina liv här, med rimlig förväntan om ett ja, riskerar nu ett avslag. Inte för att de har gjort fel utan för att Sverigedemokraterna och tidöregeringen är ohederliga och själlösa människor som förlorat all sin mänsklighet.
Konsekvensen är nu att människor som följt systemet straffas nu av det.
Ni införde inte krav. Ni stoppade människor från att överhuvudtaget få en chans fastän de gjorde allting rätt.
Vi alla har ett ansvar och skyldighet i detta. Låt oss uppfylla det ansvaret. Låt oss rösta för ett alternativ som står upp för rättssäkerhet, rimlighet och framförallt gnutta humanitet!
