This is a battle
Lacrosse in a hotbed is incredibly different than in a non-hotbed in a ton of ways. It can be really challenging for the hotbed folks to understand that if they have never lived it.
Said as someone who grew up on Long Island.

Dudes who grew up in hotbed areas for the game really don't understand how little attention, recognition, and pull the sport has in other areas of the country/world.
