@gxonio @SeaGL_ You can't even buy 1 of these today if you don't sit down for atleast 5-10 years collecting money if you pay rent. They did all that WHILE paying rent back then and getting below average wages. That's how crazy the economic gap is. It was very much ripped from our hands.

@gxonio @SeaGL_ My guy, we weren't born yesterday. My parents literally bought a 3 floor mansion for 200k, 2 cars, gave me school tutors outside of school, eng, piano, art tutors paid a 20k college and a 20k masters on top and they were in the poor to middle class income household back then. 1/2

We know what we missed out on. We literally saw it get pulled from our grasp the second we almost got to take part in it

But a weighted average masks reality: costs for non-negotiables like housing and tuition have soared, while cheap consumer goods (TVs/toys) artificially lower the "average." Even if wages rose 200%, they haven't kept pace with the massive jump in the price of a middle-class
