Tech Jacket's story is literally of a little boy becoming a MAN! Basically, with undertones of a space opera of a young knight saving the princess and the Realm with hilarious undertones and a lot of pain that specifically affects a young man. This was a story and character for teenage boys, so predominantly MALE!
Like his girlfriend going lesbian and dumping him without telling him because he could "preform" in bed or the whole world shitting on him no matter what he does.

Viltrumites as a society as advanced as they are makes no sense, it would if they were more medieval like and only have advantages because of their powers.
Kryptonians are so advanced because they aren't born with theirs on their planet so they had to adapt and value other things than strength.

@Bee14ish @foeyeahboi So far since phase 1 they've established enhanced/augmented humans and Inhumans. People born with abilities are a whole different category altogether. "Just now coming into prominence" still leaves a few holes on how a mutant population was left unnoticed this whole time.

@cloudyskycomics @foeyeahboi Maybe they only just now started coming into prominence. It's not like we haven't known there have been gifted individuals in-universe since the very beginning. Vision even references their increasing numbers in Civil War.
