Today, ATJ in partnership with Community Legal Services facilitated a roundtable meeting on #legalaid for disaster relief survivors, focused on the state of legal response emergency disasters in Florida and the future for disaster recovery

Participants discussed their work in the aftermath of a natural disaster to address civil legal issues like defending against unlawful evictions, helping apply for unemployment benefits, food stamps, or FEMA resources, replacing identification papers, and dealing with insurance

Director Rossi delivered the keynote address for the Community Legal Services Annual Pro Bono Awards dinner, honoring the outstanding work of #probono attorneys and their commitment to providing free legal services to those in need, including in the face of a natural disaster.
