Thank you to the Culture Blocks program for funding the BOOM United portion of the festival. BOOM will have an entertainment block of both global & local talent on Sat., April 27th fr. 1:30-7:30pm. It will be a celebration of providing arts access to immigrants and refugees.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ Lucid Fruit Media/Eric Lamar Lee - “Agape of the Fall” ABOUT THE SHOW: A love story of the importance of staying spiritually connected in our human experience through an unfaltering bond that doesn't waver as technology changes the world.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ Nat Stemen- “Hula Hoop Flow” ABOUT THE SHOW: The performance will be an LED hula hoop show.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ Alexander Windner Lieberman - “Surveilled” ABOUT THE SHOW: This installation boldly breaks down the fourth wall, immersing viewers in an exploration of observation and being observed.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ BeYou Clubhouse / 904 Vybez - “Once Upon a Time…” ABOUT THE SHOW: Once Upon a Time is a dance about young girls dealing with low self-esteem and have no confidence in themselves. Then by the end of the dance you will see that confidence shine

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION PARTNERS:⁠ ASC Culture Blocks - “Interactive Table Activity and Information Table” ABOUT THE SHOW: Arts & Science Council will inform the general public about ASC Culture Blocks.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ Charlotte Comedy Theatre - “Improv Show” ABOUT THE SHOW: In this short-form improv show (In the style of Whose Line is it Anyway?), performers will take audience suggestions and weave them into spontaneous scenes, songs, monologues, and games.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ AerialCLT- “ Selections from Company Repertoire” ABOUT THE SHOW: In a show of strength and grace, our students will dazzle spectators with gravity defying skills and hypnotic spins and shapes.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION PARTNERS:⁠ OBRA COLLECTIVE - “Interactive Table Activity” and "Poem Reading" ABOUT THE SHOW: OBRA COLLECTIVE will be leading a mixed media art activity in which participants will make mini canvas magnets using paint markers and collage materials.

Come to BOOM United during the BOOM Festival on Sat., April 27 fr. 1:30-7:30pm at the BOOM Intersection. It is a time when we will be uniting the global community with the local community. International acts as well as some local acts will be performing around Camp North End.

MEET THE BOOM INTERSECTION ARTIST:⁠ Haunz Noire- “Father” ABOUT THE SHOW: “Father” is a vulnerable piece about a father-son relationship.
